“Mama.” He starts to cry. Both Bette and Tina runs over to the bed and looks down on him.
“Yes, sweetie, we’re right here, mama and mommy.” Bette says and strokes his head gently. He calms down right away.
A few hours later, Sarah and Danny came in. Danny recognizes the hallway and the room now, he starts to run towards the room and as soon he reaches the door he push it open and calls out for mommy.
“Mommy, mommy.” He says and runs right up to Tina.
“Hey, sweetie, I missed you.” Tina says and lifts him up and kisses his cheek.
“Help Noah?” He asks and looks over down at Noah who is looking up at him. Tina sets him down on the bed and Danny lay down beside him.
A doctor enters the room.
“Hi, I’m Dr. John O’Connor. I’m doing the bone marrow test on Danny.” He says and looks at Tina and then at Bette.
“That’s me.” Danny says and sits up straight and smiling.
“You’re Danny, it’s nice to meet you.” Dr. O’Connor says and reaches out his hand to Danny. Danny takes it. He feels important now.
“Hi, I’m Tina Kennard Porter, I’m the birth mother and this is my wife Bette Porter, the other mother.” Tina says and shakes his hand.
“Nice to meet you both.” He says.
“Nice to meet you too.” Bette says and smiles.
“So, are we ready?” He asks.
Bette and Tina looks at each other.
“I don’t want to be alone with him.” Tina says and looks at Bette with pleading eyes.
“Then I’ll come with you.” Bette says and smiles. “Sarah, could you stay here with Noah?” Bette asks.
“Off course.” Sarah says.
“Thank you.” Tina says and gives her sister a hug. “Come on Danny, let’s go and help your brother.” Tina says and lifts him up and into her arms.
Bette bends down and kisses Noah’s forehead softly.
“We will be back in no time, you just relax here with aunt Sarah, okay? We love you.” Bette says and strokes his head gently.
He nods and starts sucking his thumb. Tina also reach down and softly kisses his head.
“Love you.” She whispers.
They leave for the test. They are brought into an OR.

Great update and a very hard day for the boys, hope it is all over for them very soon and everyone is well and happy. The last part where they all take naps was very touching and loving. Thanks for the post.

Hopefully, those dreams will be of happier times. Noah really does love his mamma. Danny was so strong and he loves his brother. I know that you said that it will be over soon, just allow of them all to be well. Can’t wait till the baby comes. How is Julia doing?
Danny is a brave little boy. I’m hoping Noah will be better soon and I hope B&T continue being such strong & loving parents.
when i read “it’s soon over” i am freak out but then i was relax! i don’t know if you can take away from hospital from long time cause Bette will be in delivery soon or i am wrong? but will be happy time in hospital. good chapter as always and the last part so sweet!
