Chapter 129 While she was in the bathroom Tina called a cab, she didn’t want either of them to not be able to celebrate with a glass of wine. Bette goes to grab her keys. “I called a cab, babe, either of us is driving today.” Tina says and smiles. “Okay.” Bette says and grabs her purse and they leave and get into the waiting cab outside. “So where are we going?” Bette asks. “It’s a surprise.” Tina replies. They get in the cab and Tina give the driver a little piece of paper. He starts driving. 10 minutes later he stops outside an apartment building. “Tina?” Bette says and looks out the window. “Yeah?” She replies. “This is our old place, what are we doing here?” Bette asks. “Come on.” Tina says and takes Bette’s hand, she pays the driver and they get out. They walk up to the front door of the building. They walk inside and take the elevator up to the second floor. Bette is curious now. “Tina?” Bette says as Tina take out her key and opens it up. They step inside and the smell off lasagne hit them. “T?” Bette says as her voice is starting to shake a little. “Come on.” Tina says and takes Bette’s hand. They walk into the kitchen. There, dressed up in a man suit is Jessie. “Ladies, your table.” She says and motions with her hand that they should sit down. On the table there were two candles burning. Tina smiles at Jessie. Bette’s eyes were shining. Bette holds the chair for Tina. When they are seated, Jessie turn around and takes out the lasagne from the oven. She placed it down on the table. “T, when did you do this?” Bette asks almost crying of happiness. Jessie comes back with Tina’s choice of wine. She pours both their glasses. “Enjoy your meal.” She says and leaves. “Well, I asked Jessie yesterday morning. And Stephanie helped with the cooking.” Tina says. “This is amazing, I don’t know what to say.” Bette says softly and looking into Tina’s eyes. “You remember our first date?” Tina asks Bette. “Of course I remember, how could I not.” Bette replies. “It was here and we had lasagne, like now.” Tina says and takes Bette’s hand in hers.
