Yale University: Bette’s apartment: The next morning…
The next morning Tina awoke to the sound of Bette rumbling through her dresser drawers…she glaced over at the clock and sat up in bed…she held the covers to her ***** and said…
Tina: “where are you going?”
Bette glances over while putting her shoe on…
Bette: “I have to go down to the cash check place…I’ll be back in a half”
Bette opens the door and heads into the bathroom…Tina hops out of bed and throws some clothes on…she follows Bette into the bathroom…
Tina: “how about I go with you?”
Bette looks over at Tina and smiles…she kisses her and says…
Bette: “I’d love for you too…but I’m going with Karen”
Tina’s smile faded…she said…
Tina: “yeah?…what so special about your outting that I can be there?”
Bette looks over at Tina from the reflection of her in the mirror…she says…
Bette: “T…it’s nothing special…we’re going to pick up the money my fathered wired out of my account for me…I’m loaning her the money for school”
Tina puts her hands up and says…
Tina: “wait a minute…run that back for me?”
Bette: “you remember yesterday when Karen was outside on the steps when we came from class?”
Tina: “yeah…”
Bette: “well the reason for her unhappiness was because she was told that she had to leave school…I guess her checked bounced at the bank…so I agreed with her that I’ll loan her the money…but…she has to pay me back at the end of the year with a five hundred dollar interest”
Bette steps close to kiss Tina’s forehead…she backs away and says
Tina: “Bette…I hate to bust your bubble…but..there’s something wrong with this picture”
Bette smirks and kisses her forehead anyway…she steps around her and says…
Bette: “no….I don’t see anything wrong Tina…she said she was gonna pay me back”
Tina: “yeah I hear you but…she had to have known that there wasn’t any money in her account…I think it’s a scam…”
Bette chuckles and puts on her jacket…
Bette: “T…your tripping…it’s okay…everything will be okay…I know what I’m doing…”
Bette leans into her and kisses her sweet lips…she smiles and says…
Bette: “I’ll be back…I won’t be gone long”
Bette walks to the door….Tina says…

Thank goodness for Tina’s common sense. Bette would have been played for a sucker by her roommate. I bet poo will hit the fan when Bette doesn’t show up with the money. One way to catch the little weezel is to demand on paying the tuition directly. Good story. Can’t wait to see ehat happens next!
