“What’s wrong Spence”

It’s becoming hard for me to breath and my palms are starting to sweat. I quickly pull my hands back resting them in my lap. This can’t be happening it has to be a bad dream that I’m not waking up from. I should have just waited out in the car for Glen, then none of this would be happening. I can feel the tears slowly building up behind my eyes and I’m fighting with all of my strength to keep them in.

“Nothing” I squeak out

“Liar”

“Arthur, you’re not helping your just up setting her”

“Tell your mother now Spencer” my father was yelling, quite loudly in fact

“What is going on tell me what?” my mother looked more than confused at this point

“That your daughter has decided to become a flaming homo with her boyfriend’s sister in my house. Isn’t that right Spencer?”

I just could not for the life of me comprehend that this was really taking place I just started to shake my head back and forth in denial as of it would make this all go away.

“Spencer?”

“You should have seen it Paula it was so disgusting they were basically about to have sex on our couch when I walked in on them.”

“That’s not true” I whispered out through tears “it was jjjust a kiss…..I” my father quickly cut me off

“See she admits to it, we cannot allow this to happen to our daughter Paula. We have to fix her now before it’s too late, I don’t care what it takes even if we have to send her away. Its most likely  the best option anyway. I don’t want to be forced to see her nasty behavior any longer than I have to.”

“No…please listen to me I don’t want to be sent away… iii don’t need help” I cried out as I looked to my mother to help me.

“Spencer is this true?” my mom questioned not even making eye contact with me

“Momma please don’t…… don’t send me away there’s nothing wrong with me let me explain” I was on my knees now with my head in my mom lap sobbing .

“Enough with the water works, we are going to help you Spence you might not realize it now but in time you will see this is best. We should start looking for a counselor right away Paula. I might know of someone, I went to school with him. He is a little forceful but he will get the job done I should call him up now. ”
