“Hey Spence!  I’m glad you conned your mom into letting you come!”  Aiden hugged her and placed her bags next to his.  Ashley tipped her sunglasses forward and smiled.  “Nice.”  A yellow 2007 Chevy Avalanche – Simple and yet stunning.  “You like?”  Kasey kept her hand on the hood, proudly grinning.

“Whoa! No one touch the truck or psycho here will give you a lecture on proper Avalanche etiquette.”  Aiden pointed momentarily to his cousin and continued loading their bags.  Kasey flipped him off.

Kyla noticed a large container in the truck’s box and eyed it curiously. “What’s in there? Please tell me it’s a TV!”  Kasey looked over at the object and shook her head.  “I’ll show you guys what it is when we get there.”

Spencer was immediately curious.  She circled the truck and observed those around her.  ‘Spencer, just leave the box alone. Argh! But I can’t, it’s just soooo tempting.’  She thought.  As everyone busied themselves with last minute preparations she reached for the container and began fidgeting with the cover.

“Ouch!”  She pulled her hand back and pouted.  “That was sneaky Spencer. Don’t touch or I’ll rat you out!”  Ashley grinned after swatting the blonde’s fingers away.  She continued to pout; her bottom lip stuck out and quivered as Ashley’s face fell.  “That hurt Ash.”  The brunette knew she was faking but that face, it was just so damn irresistible.

She reached for Spencer’s hand and feathered a few gentle kisses to the top of every finger she had made light contact with.  Spencer’s heart fluttered with the minute contact of Ashley’s moist lips on her fragile skin.  Slowly she brought her hand back to her side and smiled.  “Ok, much better.”  Both girls grinned as they broke apart and prepared for their journey.

Just then a cherry red Miata pulled into the driveway.  Ashley’s shoulders dropped at the sight of Madison exiting the car.  ‘So he wasn’t bullshitting.  This is gonna be a long trip.’  She thought, knowing she better make this work for Spencer’s sake.  “Hey Mads, you’re just in time.”  Aiden walked to her car and gripped the two bags she had stored in her trunk.

Madison was shyly grinning as she made her way to the group of teens.  “Hey Madison, we’re glad you could make it!”  Spencer exclaimed, nudging Ashley.
