You Don't Know Me – (Chapter: Maybe We Should Just Be Friends…Or Not)

“I was grounded. That’s why I haven’t been around. I just got my car and phone back today.” I lean against the wall and look at Ashley. “I tried to call you from my friend’s phone and tell you but you didn’t pick up.”Ashley moves so she’s leaning against the wall beside me.

“Sorry,” She picks up my hand. “After I hadn’t seen or heard from you in a couple of day, I thought you were blowing me off.” I look over and see she’s consenting on my hand that’s in hers.

“How did that make you feel?” I know bold question. But I can’t help but wonder if she missed me or is she sorry for not wanting to make us into an US. Maybe she’s changed her mind after a week of not having me.

“What do you mean how did it make me feel? I told you already.”I look at her and give her my ‘be serious’ face. “I missed you.” I turn, now instead of my back, my shoulder is leaning against the wall.

“I missed you to.” I whisper out. Ashley leans over and kisses me softly on the lips. She pulls back a little to look at me before leaning in again but I pull away.

“What’s wrong?” She asks looking concerned. I pull back and wrap my arms around myself.

“I’m not that girl but with you … I don’t know.” I say looking at the ground. “I mean would, it even bother you if I was seeing someone else?”

“Are you seeing someone else?” She asks in a small voice. I can tell that thought of me with someone else is bothering her just by the way she asked me that question. I think about saying yes just to mess with her but I wouldn’t want her to do that to me.

“No.” I kiss her on the cheek and continue to talk. “But maybe we should just be friends.” I say putting some space between us.

“Friends that kiss every know and then?” I shake my head no. She lets out a loud sigh. “Why? Why cant we continue what we’re doing, it’s not like I’m asking for sex.”

“Ok, then what exactly are you asking for?” I question.

    1. i kind of agree with spencer if ash isn’t willing to put herself out there and answer questions maybe they shouldn’t be friends but i don’t want that to happen i want them together

    2. I always look foward to the next chapter of this story. But I think its about time that Ash just comes out and says what shes been holding back from Spence. She has a right to know what is going on. Hopefully soon and then they can be together. Great Job! PMS!
