Within Temptation – (Chapter: 81: Double Davies)

The class was over in no time at all. Most of the lesson was her telling her kids what to expect from the class. No one ever taught their students too much on the first day. Spencer sat down and watched as her student began to file out of the room. She expected Ashley to stop and speak to her to explain why she was here in the first place, but the brunette kept walking past Spencer’s desk.

    "Excuse me."

Spencer decided to stop the girl and find out what was going on.

    "Yes?"

The girl looked just as confused as Spencer.

"What are you doing in my class?"

"Learning about film. The same as everyone else."

The brunette was confused by Spencer’s questions.

"Then who is watching your children?"

"I don’t have any kids. What are you talking about?"

"Why did you say your name is Santana?"

"Because that is my name. Why are you acting so weird. I’m going to be late for my next class."

Spencer was getting frustrated by the brunette acting innocent.

    "Ashley, be serious."

    "My name isn’t Ashley."

"Yeah, and my name isn’t Spencer Davies."

"Davies" the brunette thought. "Ashley… She must have me confused for Ashley Davies. People do that all the time."

"You think I am Ashley Davies?"

"Ashley, if you are trying to pretend to be someone else at least try to disguise yourself."

"I am not Ashley Davies. Look, I don’t even have a tattoo on my back."

The smaller girl turned around and revealed her ink free lower back. Spencer quickly sat down. Her head was spinning. The younger girl stepped closer with a look of concern written on her features.

    "Are you ok?"

"How is it that you look so much like Ashley? You are like twins. It is confusing."

"Probably because we have the same father."

Spencer’s head shot up quickly. Ashley had another sister? How could Ashley not have told her about this?

"I thought she only had one sister."

"Long story short my mom didn’t want me growing up in the spot light of having a famous father, so she kept me all to herself. I never even met my dad or any of his other children."

"You just look so much like her. It scared me. I didn’t know why she would be here."

"How do you know Ashley? You said you are a Davies. Are you my sister too?"

    Spencer shook her head

    "I married her."

The blonde reached for the picture Ashley had given her to decorate her desk with and she handed it to the Ashley look alike.

"So, you are the one with the baby mystery everyone is so crazy about. I don’t read the gossip magazines much, so I never actually knew what you looked like."

    "Yeah, well that’s me."

Spencer didn’t know what else to say to the girl. She was too confused.

"Do u think you could write me a late note? I don’t want to get in trouble on the first day."

She may have looked like Ashley, but she didn’t act like her.

    "Sure."

Spencer quickly scribbled out a note for the girl and she left Spencer in her empty classroom.
