Spe: “That you do. You have good taste in other things too.”

Ash: “Like what?”

Spe: “Girls.”

Ash: “Pft, that’s the one thing I have horrid taste in.”

Spe: “HEY!”

I sat up and smacked her with a pillow. She laughed and jumped out of bed.

Ash: “Kidding. KIDDING! Don’t behead me.”

Spe: “No promises.”

Ashley wrapped her robe around herself and then handed me mine.

Ash: “I need to go get a shower before I pack up and leave. Care to join?”

Spe: “You know I’ll be there.”

Ash: “That’s because you can’t stand to be away from me for more than a few minutes.”

Spe: “Make that seconds.”

She held out her hand and lead me to the shower. I was going to miss this girl like crazy, but we can make it a week without each other.

Ashley’s Pov

I wasn’t 100% ready to get out of the shower, but I jumped out when I heard my cell going off.

Ash: “Hello?”

Jas: “You almost ready to head out?”

Ash: “Almost.”

Jas: “I’m having someone pick you up in thirty minutes. Don’t be late.”

He hung up and I turned to see Spencer wrapping a towel around herself.

Ash: “I think you are over dressed.”

Spe: “I’m freezing!”

Ash: “Awe well come here. I’ll warm you.”

I wrapped my arms around her and rested my forehead against hers.

Spe: “How much longer do we have?”

Ash: “Half an hour.”

Spe: “That’s not nearly long enough.”

Ash: “I agree, but I need to start packing and get dressed.”

Spe: “I’ll help you.”

Twenty five minutes had passed and I was fully dressed. I picked out all the clothes I wanted, but I was having a hard time making them all fit. I was sitting on my bag while Spencer was fighting to zip it.

Spe: “Is it necessary to take this much stuff with you? It’s just a week.”

Ash: “Yes it is necessary. Now get to zipping missy.”

We laughed as I bounced up and down on the bag trying to get it to zip. After fighting with it for a few minutes Spencer was able to get it to close completely.

Ash: “It’s time to go meet my ride.”

Spe: “I guess so.”

She made a cute pouty face at me as I grabbed the handle to my bag. I traced her bottom lip with my thumb and looked deeply into her eyes.

Ash: “I’ll be back before you know it my angel.”

Spe: “It’s still not soon enough.”

Ash: “I know”

I held my empty hand in front of her and waited for her to take it. As soon as I felt her grasp it I walked outside to meet my ride. We found the car that was to take me where ever it was I was actually going today. The driver got out and loaded my luggage into the trunk as I said my goodbyes to Spencer.

Spe: “Promise to call every day?”

Ash: “Yes. As often as I can, but it gets really loud on tour. If all else fails we can face book chat.”

Spe: “Oh, wow. I forgot all about that. I never even get on.”

Ash: “I don’t either, but it’s a lot faster than texting.”

Spe: “True… Ash, I love you.”

Ash: “I love you too. Forever.”

Spe: “Longer than forever.”

I grabbed her hand and rubbed my thumb over her ring. I smiled while looking into her eyes and rested my lips against hers. I eventually had to pull away from the kiss. She opened my door for me and I climbed inside.

Ash: “Don’t miss me too much.”

Spe: “No promises.”

She shut the door once I was completely inside. The driver drove off and I watched Spencer out the back window until she was no longer in sight. This was going to be one long week.
