Within Temptation – (Chapter: 63: Clarification )
I kissed her nose and looked into her eyes. She looked so sad and it was killing me. I knew I shouldn’t have told her.
Spe: “Ash?”
Ash: “Yes?”
Spe: “You didn’t hook up with any groupies did you?”
She nervously bit her bottom lip and I burst into laughter at her cuteness.
Spe: “What’s so funny?”
She placed her hands on her hips and gave me the most serious look. It was cute, so I laughed even harder. She began whining.
Spe: “Ashley!”
Ash: “Sorry. I just didn’t expect a question like that.”
Spe: “Are you going to answer me?”
Ash: “Spencer, no. I never hooked up with anyone. They tried, but I shot them down every time. Actually I was pretty rude to anyone that hit on me. It’s kind of funny.”
Spe: “That makes me happy. Not that you were rude. That you didn’t sleep with someone that wasn’t me.”
Ash: “Of course I wouldn’t. You are my everything, Spencer. My one and only.”
She relaxed on my lap and I began to play with her hair some more.
Ash: “Can I get you some breakfast?”
Spe: “No, I want to do it. You cooked dinner for me, so let me make breakfast.”
Ash: “Anything that makes you happy.”
Spe: “Good!”
She crawled off of my lap and out of bed. She practically skipped to the kitchen and I watched her as she bounced the entire way. I liked when she bounced. Especially when she was wearing a skin tight tank top and the tiniest pajama shorts known to man. I shook my head to escape the dirty thoughts. Man, did I EVER stop thinking about naughty things? I pulled the blankets off of me and walked to the closet door. It had a full length mirror that I loved standing in front of. I stretched and looked at myself when I noticed how cluttered our room still was. I started pushing her boxes to one corner and stacking them on top of one another to give us a little walking room. I noticed there was a box with “Spashley” written on it. It was open and the contents were scattered all around the box. This must have been what she was looking through. There were so many pictures of us. I grabbed a few that were in frames and I placed them in random places around the room. This place could use a little decoration. I closed the box and put it with the others. I grabbed one more small box that was labeled “school stuff” and I sat it on top of the stack. The room suddenly filled with the smell of Spencer’s cooking. I took that as my cue to go find her.
