Why Superman Could Never Find a Phone Book – (Chapter: 15: Oleanna)
Spencer was lying on her stomach on the carpet, doodling on a napkin with a red marker. Her shoulders were extremely tan, almost going black, having spent part of the summer on her uncle’s boat in Tahoe, much to Ashley’s disappointment. Spencer had invited her once, but Ash felt like she was imposing somehow, seeing as Spencer never saw her parents much, and her brothers were too busy spiking some girl’s drink or failing a philosophy final. Her uncle seemed to take the place of her absent father, a sparkle emitted from his eyes whenever Spencer asked to sit in his lap and watch the sunset or when she begged him to watch her as she performed a flip off the diving board.
Spencer seemingly teetered between knowing and wanting Ashley to experience the love and affection of a father figure, and her own selfish wish to receive all of her uncle’s attention, not having to share with someone else.
Ashley rolled off the couch, landing hard on the floor. Her left elbow took the brunt of it, stinging a tad from the friction of the carpet. She glanced at Spencer a few feet from her, and flung her body towards her, rolling over and over until she slammed into Spencer, who was startled by Ashley’s sudden movement.
The birthday girl giggled, her body suddenly buzzing at the thought of Spencer bodily contact, and continued her childlike antics, bulldozing over Spencer’s back, and landing on her face on the other side.
Spencer’s pen jutted upward from the impact, a red streak now running across her left cheek. She smudged her face into the carpet, the plush floor accepting the hearty laugh. Unaware that she had marred her own face, she turned her face o the left, her cheek resting upon the defiled napkin, shoulders jerking up and down from laughter over Ashley’s theatrics.
“Oh my god Spence…your face!” A finger pointed towards Spencer, the owner trying to muffle her laughter at the ridiculous looking mark that now plagued her friend’s panicked face.
Spence’s jaw dropped and she ran into the bathroom, counting each second before the mirror would assault her, and display the damage.
“Ash! It’s really bad…shit, will this stuff come off?” Ashley heard rustling in the bathroom, assuming Spencer was seeking an aid to help remove the marker.

Sooo I see Spence made the first move and then she tries to make Ash feel bad, This sucks, I mean the fics amazing but man I want them to get together already. LOL keep up the great work
Holy crap!! that was really, really good. Yes, this is definately an interesting side of Spence to see….both of them in the bathroom, and then Spence appearing to freak when Aiden arrived….Spence makin the first move in the shed. It’s so funny to try and picture Aiden as an out of shape dork. haha. Can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next…or in the past…or whatever the next chapter holds.
i’m speachless. which is a good thing. really really good. BEST FANFIC I have ever read. hell better then alot of books I have read and I read alot. keep posting
I don’t think any comment I could leave you would truly show my appreciation for it. There is so much to say about this chapter, and really just about your writing in general that I don’t even know where to start. I’m really impressed with how creative of an individual you are. Each chapter of this story is almost completely different from the last in terms of the imagery that you use, and yet all of the chapters seem to fit together. I’ll leave you another comment on this later because a million thoughts ran through my head while I was reading this post, and I can’t remember most of them right now.
