What Nourishes Your Soul? – (Chapter: Chapter Two)

“Are you ready to order?”, the young man standing in front of them asked. He was young, in his mid-twenties with black spiky hair and grey eyes that were covered with dark rimmed glasses. His arms were covered with tattoos and he wore a deep red button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up under a black vest with a matching black tie. As Ashley looked around she noticed all the waiters and waitresses were dressed the same and all of them were uniquely eccentric in their own way. Some had brightly colored hair, some had piercings and tattoos. It looked like the whole restaurant was employed would be artists and musicians. She smiled, this place was unique and she liked it almost instantly. “Sure, can I like get the Chicken Curry but, without the curry stuff and a green salad with no dressing. I’m on a diet.”, Veronica said twirling some of her hand in between her fingers. Ashley rolled her eyes, she hated this soiled Hollywood toothpick brats, it was like they never hate. This place was known for it’s funky unique food and she wasn’t about to pass this up to eat like a rabbit. “I’ll have the pasta special but, can I get it with no butter and no cream too. “, Roland as the waiter nodded writing it don’t smugly. Ashley smiled at him warmly, “ You know what I can’t seem to decide..tell the chef to choose.”, at this the waiter looked up a large smile spread over his face. “I’ll do that ma’am.”, his smile faded when he looked at the others at the table and went to go put in the order.

“Order up table seven…one Chicken Curry,..no sauce, green salad..no dressing. One pasta special no butter, no cream.”, he called to the busy kitchen. “Damn it, I hate this LA people always on diets.”, the chef called over their shoulder. “Oh you’ll love this chef, the other person at this table said for you to choose their entrée.”, he said smiling. At this the chef the chef turned facing him, “Really, who is this person?” The waiter pointed across the restaurant from the slightly opened kitchen. The chef smiled as eyes landing on the beautiful creature, sitting their sipping her wine and taking animatedly with the others at the table. “Okay, table seven is extremely special, okay people! Let’s give the beautiful lady something to talk about.”, the chef said to the waiter with a wink before he walked out of the kitchen.
