South Of Nowhere – 2.24 – Things Meant To Be
Spencer felt her stomach dropping as she watched Ashley hugging and holding this suddenly appearing woman. Spencer felt the hot ripple of jealously wash over her, hating the feeling. Wanting Ashley to let go of that woman, and rush over to her instead. Paula put a comforting arm around Spencer, but Spencer shrugged it off, goosebumps appearing all over her arms as she watched the scene unfolding before her.
On the lawn.
“Hey, how about we go inside? The lawn is wet, and my butt is getting soaked,” whispered Drew in Ashley’s ear. Ashley looked up at her, nodding and then realizing that the whole Carlin clan was standing there, watching them.
“OH! Um…,” began Ashley, jumping to her feet, “Umm…,” Ashley was at a loss for words.
“An old flame, Ash?” Questioned Spencer her arms crossed over her chest, staring at them with very cold eyes, as Ashley pulled Drew along the moist lawn towards the front door.
“How about we go inside and we introduce each other properly?” Offered Drew, seeing the pretty blonde was giving her a deadly stare. She surmised that she must be Spencer, the girlfriend. The tall pretty white-blonde must have been Spencer’s mother, and the ruggedly handsome blue eyed man must have been the father of the clan. Drew gave them all a small smile, feeling Ashley’s fingers wrapping around her own.
“Please, do come in,” said Paula sweetly. Drew smiled quickly again, a hand on the small of Ashley’s back as they walked into the house.
“Come on, Spence,” directed Arthur. A nod of his head, motioning to the interior of the warm house, but Spencer gave him a wry look.
“Is this night going to get any odder?” Asked Clay and Spencer grunted.
“I seriously don’t have to listen to this,” retorted Spencer. All she’d wanted to do was reconnect with Ashley, now this wasn’t going to turn out well, she had a bad feeling about this woman.
“Why don’t we hear her out?” Arthur asked Spencer, as Paula led them into the dining room. Paula shot a look back, seeing a very angry looking Spencer glowering at Ashley. She smiled to herself.

=O. you know at first i was like alright this Drew is cool, she a former tv/movie star, thats great and now i want to stab her with a knife. Dead serious. my emotion just went a complete 180 and it wasnt a good 180 either. Her ass should of stayed in Africa and get eaten by the lions. lol….sounding a lil too violent. post more soon. or stepped on by an elephant would work to. okay stopping now.
