Glen narrowed his eyes, which were glassed over, he nodded, “Sure man, it’s just a party, right?”
“Yeah, it’s just a party,” assured Vince.
“Just a party…,” sighed Glen. He went off with Vince, not giving a second thought to where he was going, and who with.

“So this is it,” said Drew. Waving her hand, Ashley grimacing. She didn’t like the fact that her Porsche was being traded in, she didn’t like that her things were going to be packed in a box and moved here. She hated it, yet, the thought of being with her sister, Drew, was almost enough to make her want this to happen. Then, the soft voice in the back of her head kept telling her that everyone always let her down.
“Yeah, it’s barely an it,” grumbled the young woman.
“What’s wrong with it?” asked Spencer. She looked around, it was a nice, simple house, about four blocks from her own. A double lot, a huge back yard, with a small garage apartment. Three bedrooms, a large looking living room, a well lived in house.
“Um… Hello? Pool? Small house? There is like, a yard that you’re going to have to mow…”
“Are you telling me, that you cannot do without a pool?” Drew asked, sweeping her hair into a ponytail. Twinkling eyes met Ashley’s, and Ash grimaced.
“No,” steadfastly announced Ashley. Spencer giggled, wrapping her arms around Ashley. A soft kiss placed on the back of Ashley’s neck seemed to calm her for a moment.
“Stop it. You know what Drew said, she’s not buying another mansion. She’s looking for a home, not a mausoleum,” reminded Spencer.
“Were you happy at the mansion? Or would you rather give normal life a try?” asked Drew. She walked up to her sister, touching her cheek. “I cannot go back to living the high life, you’ve got to give a little here, ok?”
Reluctantly, Ashley walked into the kitchen. A gleaming stainless steel room, hands slipping into her pockets, surveying the room. “Ok, so can we build a pool?”
Laughing, Drew nodded, “Deal, you build the pool.”
