My neck began to hurt so I put my head back down and closed my eyes so I wasn’t staring up into the lights.  I felt her fingers lightly touching my shin, sending shivers through me as she did so.  I noticed that I didn’t feel a prickly feeling, which I should have.

”While you were unconscious, we permanently removed the hair from your upper lip, underarms, arms, and legs; x-rayed your body; tested your blood and your organs; gave you your necessary shots; got your measurements; and so on.”

So many questions starting racing through my mind and I wanted answers to all of them, so I just randomly asked one, “How long have I been here?”

”A week in Earth’s time and we are still another week from our planets.”

”Planets?”

”Yes, we were able to make several planets habitable for our kind.  There is a planet for the royal family and government officials.  There is another, much larger planet that is similar to your Earth except more advanced and lacking a few things.  There is yet another planet where anything that is radioactive, nuclear, or in any way possibly harmless to our kind is done; such as experiments and weapons testing.  The fourth planet is like our version of your prisons, except that ours permit torture and other violent acts that your kind would look down upon.  The fifth and final planet is currently under construction and will be another planet that is similar to your Earth.  Although our other planet has plenty of room for growth and expansion, due to the length of our lives, our planet’s population grows even more quickly then yours does.  This planet will be so we can make sure that there is always plenty of room for our species.”

By the time she’d finished, she had already finished whatever she was doing on both my shins and she’d removed my shorts, hoodie, and shirt off of me.  I hadn’t said a word or moved as she did so, because I was getting more and more scared as time passed.  She had proceeded to lightly touch the rest of my legs, feet, arms, stomach, neck, and my face.

”Thanks to plenty of experience, I know that you will not appreciate the next part of the examination.  I will ask only once that you remain calm and preferably silent of your own free will.  If you’d like, I will prop your head up so you can watch me.”
