I stop with a chuckle, “What are you doing, Spence?  Aliens aren’t real, you need to calm yourself.”

To prove to myself that I wasn’t afraid, I took my hood off and peered up into the sky.  I smiled to myself when nothing happened as I looked up at the stars.  I sighed and began walking again, this time taking my time as my heart beat slowed down to normal.

Suddenly, there’s a flash of light in front of me.  I shoot my gaze to the sky, but there’s nothing.  I look around but don’t see any light.  I shake my head and convince myself that I am just seeing things as I begin walking again, although my pace has definitely picked up.

Then I saw another light, it seemed brighter and closer.  I jumped back and turned around quickly and looked to the sky, but there still was nothing.  I decided that even though it was nothing, it would be smart to run the rest of the way.  So I bolted, running as fast as I could towards the opposite side.

It was pitch dark for less then five seconds and then there were lights everywhere.  The adrenaline coursing through my veins increased and so did my speed.  I didn’t dare look back or up at the sky, fearing what I might see.  I nearly collapsed when I finally came out the other side.  I gasped for breath, looking around, noticing that there were no lights.

I gulped down air as I looked around for the stupid tractor attachment, but it wasn’t there, “Glen you as-“

I opened my eyes and was met with the night sky so I blinked a few times before trying to sit up, but I was unable too.  I tried to lift each limb and received the same result each time; both arms and both legs were restrained by invisible restraints.  I lifted my head and looked around.  All the walls looked like the night sky as well.  There were so many stars and there seemed to be planets too.

I rested my head back and closed my eyes, trying to will myself to wake up.  Suddenly, the lighting behind my eyelids changed so I opened my eyes and saw that there were lights on.  I lifted my head and looked around to see that the night sky walls and ceiling were gone, replaced with pure blackness.  I rested my head back unsure what kind of dream this was.
