The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 11 Eleven, Die and Go to Heaven)
If Spencer had spoken in any other tone, Ashley wouldn’t have turned around. She would have kept inspecting the Carlins’ property like a sniper waiting to strike. But the way the blonde spoke; the way her voice was so soft and purposeful—Ashley turned around slowly, knowing that Spencer had never said her name like that. Never said her name like she was meant to; like it belonged to the blonde.
Spencer hadn’t moved from the doorway. She stood there famed in nothing but shadows, but Ashley saw her clearly for the first time. Her body moved on its own accord, closer to the blonde, but she paused, the bed separating them. She wasn’t sure why she had stopped, but something inside of her knew that it was the blonde’s job to close the distance, to make sure she knew what she was getting herself in to. And Ashley also reasoned that she wasn’t certain if she could take another step—she had been let down so much in her life; especially by Spencer. Her heart was too invested in the blonde, her ex best friend, her blue-eyed beauty: her Spencer.
Her Spencer. For fourteen years of her life the blonde had been hers, and she was hers again, now. In this moment and for the moments yet to come. Because Ashley had no intention of letting her go again. She wouldn’t lose Spencer like she lost her parents. Her friends. Even Aiden. She would fight like an Amazon to keep this girl close. She would be at Ashley’s side in whatever way the brunette could have her. The fear of knowing she could have lost her only moments ago was fueling her forward as she waited.
By the look in Spencer’s eyes, however, Ashley knew something had changed. Whether or not the brunette got to love the blonde as she hoped past this moment was inconsequential. Right now, she’d get to love all of Spencer. Everything else be damned. Everything be damned.
“Ash.” Spencer whispered, in that same tone, with the same intent. She cocked her head in wonder as she gazed at the brunette; unsure when, if ever, this wasn’t meant to happen—when it was decided this had to happen.
She was approaching Ashley with determination that her tone voiced, she was before the brunette with all the vulnerability she felt with an expression of awe that made Ashley sob through a breath. No one had ever looked at Ashley that way.

fucking wonderful… really love the story, and that sex was-wow. just great job, please, please, please pms!!
(SQUEEEE!!!) sooo glad you’re still writing this! hell, i’m overjoyed when you write anything. i feel like i’ve hit a plateau with the compliments. at this point, after reading and loving every SON story you’ve written, like fifty times, i hope it’s enough to just reiterate that i truly appreciate your time and talent :)
okay first of all…i hate you. you made me wait forever and i don’t appreciate it. BUT…i do appreciate this update and everything about it. i need the next two updates….NOW. damn you, you make me crave each of your stories so that i don’t know which one i want you to work on. you had me all about the glee fic and now i just want to read the rest of this. i’m sure once the glee fic comes out i’m going to want that to be continued. damn your mind games! it was just so good, and who is this rude killer? what do the files say? why are two people chasing them? who has access to the police head quarters. i’m not budging on my theory that it’s one of the adults… marie or mr. carlin. if it’s one of the police officers or coroners i’m going to be pissed that i didn’t see it sooner. once again, damn your mind games. text me when you read this so i can yell at you further.
I’m kind of hoping its ashley dont know why im twisted like that
holy freakin hell it’s about time! I’ve been dying for this update, literally ready to scream at the computer willing it to appear. but anyway let’s see. wow so much is going on. I gotta say the whole “You may not know who I am, but I know who you are” has me thinking hard. and what the hell is up with the files for the ‘rents I would like to know. hmm, the student body now knows all of what spence and ash know, and the protege seems to have a soft spot for spence. I don’t quite know what to make of the 2 people outside of the Zee’s house. maybe it was the killer and the protege, maybe it was someone pulling a very twisted prank. kinda rude for Mr Zee not to wait for spence and ash though, geesh. buy alas, we’re coming to the ending. and that is sooo sad, but I’ll be glad to know what the hell is going on and the killer’s motives (hidden or otherwise) and all that. ahhh the ending here was so great, although I was really really hoping that spence would step up and confess her love for ash. guess I gotta wait for that. glad to know we’ll be getting the rest before Halloween. psyched for it!! awesome job mighty Stix!
