The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 11 Eleven, Die and Go to Heaven)

“Go wake your parents up, Lily!” Carmen screamed as she yanked her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed 911. Lily nodded as tears ran down her face before she sprinted off to her parents’ room.

“Hello! 911…” Carmen proceeded to fill the operator in as Ashley held a crying Spencer and moved to another window to see if she could find the two figures.

“It’s them, isn’t it?!” Spencer sobbed, referring to the killers, burying her face in curly brown hair as Ashley’s eyes darted around the darkened neighborhood, seeing nothing.

“We don’t know that.” Ashley replied firmly, but not convinced herself.

“They were carrying swords, Ash!” Lily and her parents’ darted out from their bedroom and soon the six people were peeking out through windows as Lily filled them in on what they witnessed.

    That’s when the pounding started.

It only took five hits, as the four girls and two adults huddled together in the living room before the back door exploded open.

“RUN!” Mr. Zee screamed as they all took off. They burst through the front door, Mr. Zee with his car keys, as they headed towards their vehicles.

The Zees and Carmen piled into the Ford Pickup as Spencer went to scoop up her car keys.

“That fucking coward!” Ashley screamed as Mr. Zee peeled out of the driveway, not waiting to make sure Ashley and Spencer were safely in their car. “Shit! Spencer!” Ashley screamed as one of the hooded figures ran towards them from the backyard.

Ashley dove down to help Spencer retrieve her keys—but they weren’t there.

Without another thought, the two girls took off, just as the second figure rounded around the house and took pursuit along with the first hooded figure. The girls held hands as they sprinted down the street, too afraid to look over their shoulders to check their pursuers’ progressed.

Their hearts were racing as adrenaline coursed through them, silent tears streaming down their faces as Spencer and Ashley cut down at backyard, screaming at the top of their lungs for help as they continued on.

The trees swayed as the cool, fall air breezed through them making seem as if they were in a chase as well. They were only two blocks away from Spencer’s house, their feet pounding on grass and cement as they ran towards their goal.

    1. (SQUEEEE!!!) sooo glad you’re still writing this! hell, i’m overjoyed when you write anything. i feel like i’ve hit a plateau with the compliments. at this point, after reading and loving every SON story you’ve written, like fifty times, i hope it’s enough to just reiterate that i truly appreciate your time and talent :)

    2. okay first of all…i hate you. you made me wait forever and i don’t appreciate it. BUT…i do appreciate this update and everything about it. i need the next two updates….NOW. damn you, you make me crave each of your stories so that i don’t know which one i want you to work on. you had me all about the glee fic and now i just want to read the rest of this. i’m sure once the glee fic comes out i’m going to want that to be continued. damn your mind games! it was just so good, and who is this rude killer? what do the files say? why are two people chasing them? who has access to the police head quarters. i’m not budging on my theory that it’s one of the adults… marie or mr. carlin. if it’s one of the police officers or coroners i’m going to be pissed that i didn’t see it sooner. once again, damn your mind games. text me when you read this so i can yell at you further.

    3. holy freakin hell it’s about time! I’ve been dying for this update, literally ready to scream at the computer willing it to appear. but anyway let’s see. wow so much is going on. I gotta say the whole “You may not know who I am, but I know who you are” has me thinking hard. and what the hell is up with the files for the ‘rents I would like to know. hmm, the student body now knows all of what spence and ash know, and the protege seems to have a soft spot for spence. I don’t quite know what to make of the 2 people outside of the Zee’s house. maybe it was the killer and the protege, maybe it was someone pulling a very twisted prank. kinda rude for Mr Zee not to wait for spence and ash though, geesh. buy alas, we’re coming to the ending. and that is sooo sad, but I’ll be glad to know what the hell is going on and the killer’s motives (hidden or otherwise) and all that. ahhh the ending here was so great, although I was really really hoping that spence would step up and confess her love for ash. guess I gotta wait for that. glad to know we’ll be getting the rest before Halloween. psyched for it!! awesome job mighty Stix!
