“Spencer, it’s not my place to say. If Ashley didn’t tell you anything else then nothing else happened.” He sees the anger and frustration building up in my face and takes my hand. “Look, if you’re looking to get more out of me then you’re not. This is something between you and Ashley. Just try to talk to her about it.”
“Yeah, I thought I already did.” I mumble under my breath. “She’s not the easiest person to talk to about personal stuff.”
“Yeah I know but that still doesn’t mean you don’t have to try.”
“Yeah I guess you’re right.”
After we finish dinner then Aiden walks me back to my dorm and we say goodnight. He apologizes for opening Pandora’s Box at dinner and hopes that Ashley and I get things straightened out. As I walk up to my room I call Ashley and to my surprise she answers on the first ring.
“Hey. What’s up?”
“Hey Ash. Um, not much just got back to my dorm from dinner with Aiden. What about you?”
“Oooh.” She says mocking a 1980’s TV audience. “And how’d that go?”
“It went fine. Um…”
“What is it? Did he do something to you?!” She says with an angry voice.
“No no no. Nothing like that.” I say calming her.
“Oh okay. Well what is it?”
“Um, I think we need to talk.”
Silence.
“…About you and Aiden.”
More silence.
“You there?”
“Yeah I’m here.” She says in a small voice.
“Okay. Well can we talk about it?”
“…We already did.”
“Yeah, I know, but you only told me half the story. At dinner tonight then Aiden told me…”
“Aiden told you?” She cuts me off. “You’re just going to believe something that Aiden told you?”
“Well if you would let me finish.” I say getting frustrated. She lets out a sigh. “Aiden didn’t tell me whatever else happened between you two but he led me to believe that more happened.”
“And you’re going to believe him?”
“I didn’t off the bat, but seeing your reaction then I’m betting that something happened that you didn’t tell me.” I pause but she doesn’t respond. “So can we talk about it?”
“Sure. I’ll come pick you up at your dorm.” After that I hear the phone click as she hangs up.

That was fantastic. Well, Aiden’s a bastard and I hope something really nasty happens to him. But it was great to see Spashley happening for the first time. I’m already looking forward to your next post!
I knew it! bastard. at least it’s all out there now and hopefully things will start to get somewhat better between ash and spence. although I think they already are with the kiss and all. great update, can’t wait for the next!

okay, htis may seem weird but I really like when they’re fighting… I mean, not in a bad way at least. I like the way u write when they’re arguing cuz it’s really intense. Nicely done!
