“no I haven’t I’m sorry…as far as I know he’s still in surgery…as soon as I hear something I’ll let you know…” she told us

“and what about my sister?” Ashley asked

“she should make a full recovery…we’re just waiting for her to wake up…” the nurse said then she walked out

“well at least we know about Kyla…” I told her

“but that’s not enough…” Ashley said then I went and looked out the window at the busy streets of Los Angeles and then I felt Ashley’s arms snake around me “I’m sorry…” she whispered

“you have nothing to be sorry for…” I told her

“yes I do…for Becca and for our wedding night being terrible…”

“Ashley it wasn’t terrible…I mean I know this wasn’t part of the plan, but…at least we can say we’re married…” I told her then she smiled at me and kissed me

“get another room” we heard Kyla mumble from the hospital bed

“kyla…” Ashley said going over to her sister and I followed in suite

“…I mean I know it you’re wedding day and all…” she said struggling to get the words out

“…how do you feel?” Ashley asked her

“like I was hit by a car…” she said and Ashley and I couldn’t help but laugh a little

“what happened out there Ky?”

“I don’t know…we were walking then they hit us…Jeremy, where’s Jeremy…” kyla asked worried

“he’s not good…”

“he’s in surgery again…it’s really bad Ky…its really bad…” Ashley said starting t cry and kyla grabbed her hand

“…he’ll be ok…” kyla told her sister

With everything falling apart around us, I couldn’t help but think of the first fight Ashley and I had, and it was before we were even together…

We went to a bonfire with her sister and Aiden then Jeremy and Luke were there and so was Hayley…we were sitting there next to each other and Kyla looked over at us
