That Girl. – (Chapter: Baby Don't Move.)

Ashley woke up to see to very giddy girls getting ready.  If you heard the giggling, you’d think you just walked into an episode of Bring It On.  Taylor was ready, and Spencer was almost done.  Ashley had no idea what they were talking about, and she was even angrier when she realized that it was still very dark outside.

"What time is it?"  She ask.

"6 AM baby."  Spencer said walking over to kiss Ashley.

"Why are you awake?" Ashley said looking at the two of them.

"Um, you’re money?  We need a full day."  Taylor said laughing.

"Yep.  We’ll be back later baby."  Spencer said kissing Ashley again.

"I love you guys."  Ashley said before snuggling back into bed.

"We love you too."  They both said.

Ashley had been getting everything ready for her and Spencer’s anniversary dinner that whole day.  They were having dinner at Spencer’s favorite place.  Ashley had reserved the balcony the looked out over the ocean.  They’d have steak and a baked potato and ice cream for desert.  Her guitar was supposed to be brought out, and she was going to play a song for Spencer.  She had decided against writting on.  The day before, she heard a song coming from her daughters room.  She thought that it was The Backstreet Boys, but she realized she was wrong when she looked it up.  No, it wasn’t The Backstreet Boys.  It was the Jonas Brothers, and the song was called When You Look Me In The Eyes.  It said everything that Ashley wanted to say to Spencer.  So, she decided to use that one.

She was almost done with her last phone call when someone knocked on the front door.  She opened it to see Sam standing there.

"Is Taylor here?" She asked shyly.

"No, she isn’t."  Ashley said without a reply from the other girl.  "Come in."

Sam walked in slowly sitting on the couch.

"I just don’t know what to do." Sam began.  "I wanted to tell her the truth.  I just shouldn’t have waited so long."

"Look, I’m glad you told her the truth.  No, you shouldn’t have waited so long, but you did it.  Spencer broke up with me the first time, I should have done everything in my power to keep her, but I didn’t.  Then, I lied to her about something, and that got me nowhere.  She was hurt, and that is the only thing I never wanted to do was hurt her.  Then, I chose my carrer.  I made the dumbest choices with Spencer, and I just got lucky that she came back to me.  I’m lucky that she loves me, and I know that Taylor loves you.  You just can’t give up."
