“Gladly” she said pulling me up with her off the lounge chair.  The paved pathways through the gated community were light well and very nice for evening walks or runs.  Ashley laced her index and middle finger through my pinking and ring fingers as we walked back.  I loved the way she held my hand; it was different than having all our fingers entwined.  It was a light hold that allowed her thumb freedom to trace circles in my palm.  It was one more thing to add to a growing list of reasons why I was falling for this girl.

“Hey Kaylen was wondering if we wanted to hang out with her and Aiden Friday or Saturday.  You interested?”  I asked as we walked into my studio.

“Yeah Aiden sent me a text message asking me the same thing.  I think it sounds like a great idea.  I haven’t been able to see those two together much.”  She replied.

“Kinda what I was thinking.  What day works good for you?”

“Saturday would be great.  I was kind of hoping to spend most of tomorrow in the studio.”

“Sounds good.  I have a study review tomorrow evening that I should go to so Saturday is best for me too.  You want a glass of iced tea?” I asked walking into the kitchen.

“Yeah that would be great.  I will send a text back to Aiden…I am sure that he will be seeing Kaylen before we will.” Ashley said as she headed into my living room.

I poured a glass of iced tea and took it into Ashley who was stretched out on the couch sending a text to Aiden.

“Hey I am going to take a quick shower to get off the chlorine.  Do you mind?” I asked setting the tea down on the coffee table.

“Not at all.  Thanks for the tea.” she said as I headed into the bathroom.

I noticed my ‘quick’ shower had been close to twenty minutes as I stepped out of the stall and glanced at the digital clock by the sink.  I shook most of the water out of my hair and wrapped a towel around me.  I walked out of the bathroom to the living room to find Ashley asleep on the couch.  One arm was tucked to the side of her face and the other was lightly holding her cell phone to her chest.
