Ashley took a couple steps closer to Buffy.

Ashley: "I’m not scared of you."

Buffy: "well you should be. I have your life in my hands."

Ashley did a quick jump as the slayers whip crashed down on the ground she was just standing on. She landed feet first on the trunk of a tree, it didn’t take long for the whip to crash there too, another tree was her savior.

Ashley: "I can see you haven’t whipped someone in a while-"

She fell back down to the earth when Buffy’s whip cracked along her back.

Buffy: "It hasn’t been that long! Now, tell me something, would you like to die by the sting of a whip, or would you rather go out like your mother?"

Ashley looked Buffy in the eyes.

ashley: "what happened to my mother?"

Buffy: "Oh! Tha’s right! You didn’t know that she was a breeding dog did you?"

Ashley’s eyes were on fire. Good, it’s just what she needs.

Buffy: "Come on Ashley, your mom was a whore. A big stupid whore who only got to be queen because of her being first in line."

Faith: "Buffy-"

Buffy: "Well it’s true! Truth hurts vampire! I’m tired of waiting for your answer! I’m just going to stake you!"

Just as Buffy was about to drive the stake into Ashley’s heart, Ashley jumped up and ended up behind her. She grabbed the hair on the top of her head and pulled her head back so that her neck was exposed. All teeth bared, she bit down right into the slayers throat. Buffy gave a howl of pain as her blood was being sucked out of her. Ashley turned her around and ut a little blood in her mouth. Then, she pushed her to the ground, Buffy lay there motionlessly for a long time. Faith could hardly believe what she just saw. Buffy was just turned. Into a vampire.

Faith: "No fuckin way B…"

Ashley’s mouth was dripping with blood as she looked down at Buffy’s transformation. She screamed out in pain and rolled all over the place as bony black wings crawled from out of her body, ripping the clothes that she had on. Her fingers grew longer, and fingernails were replaced with claws. Her mouth opened up wider to revial a set of fangs, and her furry tail creeped out of her jeans. Buffy the vampire was born.

Ashley: "Welcome to the club….sister."

Buffy opened her eyes. They were no longer green, but a dark shade of grey. She looked over at Faith and then at Ashley. Nothing in the world could explain what she was feeling. Confusion, anger, sadness, lonliness, and of course hate.

Ashley: "You don’t have to say anything. I had no idea that vamires could turn others into one of us. Climbing that ladder gave me knowledge of this. Now, Buffy the vampire, I give you two choices. Stay here and let Transylvania punish you, or allow Faith to let my people free and then you can go home to your pathetic life of living in the shadows and drinking animal blood."

Buffy: "….."

No words came out of her mouth. Her pride got the best of her. Faith was right. Everything she’d ever done just came back on her.

Faith: "Ashley. Your people are free."

She walked over to Buffy and wrapped a chain around her neck. She didn’t fight it.

Faith: "Come on B…let’s go home."

With one last look at their surroundings, Faith led Buffy out of Transylvania by the chains that once bound so many vampires. They were never to be seen again. Ashley wiped the blood of of her mouth in a near-by stream. Smiling, she looked up at the sky and thanked her Gods.

Ashley: "FREEEEEEDOM!!!!!! WWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

She opened up her wings and flew over the treetops, doing happy flips and dives and any other trick she could think of. All the while shouting to her country that they were finally free. The royal family was to return home. When she reached her castle, Shadow and Gaby greeted her with a tackle to the ground. Spencer got in on the action by giving her the best kisses of her life. Ashley Davies found what she’d been looking for her entire life.  When her family returns, she’d introduce them to Spencer. Maybe, just maybe, they can feel a fraction of what Ashley is feeling rigt now…….
