“Spencer can you get the door!” my dad yelled from the kitchen

“yeah I got it!” I told him running from my room to get the door as the person now felt the need to knock repeatedly which needless to say annoyed me a little…I open the door and nearly froze

“uh…hey…” the straight haired brunette said trying to put a smile on my face

“what are you doing here?” I asked her then saw how her smile faded “…no I mean I’m…I’m glad you’re here, but I just planned on you calling…” I added

“yeah well…it’s Friday night…I thought we had a date?” she said then I couldn’t help but smile at her

“you still want a date?” I asked needing reassurance

“only if it’s with you…” she said smiling

“…ok, but I’m not ready at all…” I said acknowledging my shorts and NYU hoodie

“well…think I could borrow some shorts and a long-sleeve t-shirt?” she asked “…I mean I feel over-dressed” she said making me laugh a little

“yeah…come on…” I said and we went up stairs and I sat on my bed “…you know the way…” I said then she went into my closet and seeing her pull her shirt over her head made me realize how much I messed up the night before…I mean when I have someone like this that wants me, for me…why did I sleep with Carmen!

“ok…how do I look?” she asked in my long sleeve t-shirt and some soffie shorts

“to be honest?” I asked putting on a disapproving face “…adorable…” I said making her smile

“so you ready?” she asked

“defiantly…” I told her then I ran into the kitchen to tell my dad “…dad I’m going out with Ashley ok?”

“ok…” he said “hey spence…have fun…” he told me and I smiled at him

“thanks dad…” I said then I ran out of the house and Ashley was leaning up against the side of her car

“you ready?” she asked

“more than ever…” I told her and she opened up my door for me “…so what’s the plan?” I asked
