    Author Notes:

    AU. Ashley is in high school and is falling for an older Spencer.

    “Hey girls,” Franklin said cheerily and I offered a smile in return.  “Welcome to paradise,” he added and he pulled Pete away into the clearing, which we couldn’t quite see yet.  I walked until I was shoulder to shoulder with Ashley and she just shrugged.

    “Nope.  I had no idea either.” she said.

    I gripped her hand in my own and then we started forward.  Upon reaching the edge of the trees we found that the clearing wasn’t a clearing at all.  It was a small village, with four wooden cabins surrounding a small courtyard that housed a few benches. a small fire, and a guitar that sat idley on a chair.

    Franklin and Peter disappeared into the door of the second cabin, lips locked once again, and groping each other.  Ashley and I both stifled laughter.  

    “This from the same man who covered his eyes at the sight of my breasts.” I muttered.

    “Talk about your double standards,” Ashley added.

    “Don’t mind them,” a third voice added, “They never really got any older than sixteen.”  The voice came from a woman standing in the doorway of the third cabin.  She smiled brightly at us and then descended the stairs.  She was hot.  She had red hair that fell in curly ringlets about her face and wore a green sweater and black jeans that left little to the imagination.  She had warm, rose-colored cheeks and a walk that was more of a glide.

    “Don’t forget to wipe up the drool Spence,” Ashley muttered and I closed my mouth, turning a bright red.

    “Welcome Spencer and Ashley,” she said, winking at either of us when she said our names.  I shifted nervously.  “Pete has told me so much about you.  And I’m so glad to see you hear today.”

    “We’re glad to be here too,” I blurted out and she smiled some, her eyes twinkling with amusement.  

    “Right,” Ashley said, nudging me.  I looked at my feet.  “You mind telling us exactly where we are?”

    “Certainly,” the redhead replied.  “I’m Jill and this is Paradise.  I built it twelve years ago along with Pete and Frankie.  It’s a getaway for them, but I live her.  Basically we grow vegetables in the surrounding areas and use the profit to keep up this little slice of life.”

    11. Ashley wants Spencer to be all hers, but the blonde still belongs to Aiden. I can totally understand Ashley’s apprehension in taking their relationship one step further, but I’m hoping they straighten out this mess that involves an engagement ring and Spencer’s best friend, Aiden. Spencer needs to show Ashley how much she loves her by breaking up with the man that is keeping the girls from moving ahead in their relationship. By the way, Franklin and Pete? Never saw that one coming! Another great update! PMS
