    AU. Ashley is in high school and is falling for an older Spencer.

    Ashley’s POV

    When we stepped off the bus, we were at a park.  Well, I guess you could call it a park.  Really it was just a large expanse of grass with a rusted swing set, a merry-go-round, and a few wooden benches.  Pete stood before the slide, mopping at his eyes and cursing.  I let go of Spencer’s hand and approached him, placing a hand on his back.

    “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” he yelled and I laughed.  Spencer laughed too.

    “I’m sorry Pete,” she called and I put up a hand to silence her.

    “She’s sorry Pete.  Really. She didn’t know.”

    “Her breasts were hanging out! How did she not know?”

    “Umm…”

    “Whatever. I don’t want to know,” Pete snapped, standing up straight.  He readjusted his belt and then peered over the park.  “Anyway, we’re here.”  My smile faded.

    “Yeah about that…what is this place?  C’mon Pete.  I promise her forever and you take us to some old park?” I accused.  My voice was shaking with worry and I shoved my hands into my pockets.  Pete noticed this and turned to me, gripping my shoulders in his hands.

    “Calm down Ashley.  Really.  We just have to walk a bit and we’ll be there.  Don’t worry. She’ll love it.”

    I pouted.

    “Geez,” Pete added, “Just go get your girl and follow me.  We’ll see if I do anything to help you again.”

    I stuck my tongue out at this and than turned my back to him.  Spencer had walked over to the old swing set and was sitting on a swing.  It creaked beneath her weight.  I smiled as I walked over.

    “So…”

    “So we have to walk the rest on foot.”

    “What? Aaaasshley, I’m wearing heels,” she frowned and buried her head in her chests.  She was too cute.

    I walked over and kissed her forehead softly.  Then I put a hand under her chin and raised her gaze to my own.  Our breaths mingled and she leaned forward some.  “I’ll carry you,”  I whispered, and she smiled wide.  She cupped my cheeks in her hands and pulled me into her lips.  I almost fell forward but braced myself on the chains of the swing.

    “Oh, no you don’t!” Pete yelled from across the park.  I pulled away from the kiss.  he was waving his hands like a madman and cursing again, walking into the trees that bordered the park.

    11. Ashley wants Spencer to be all hers, but the blonde still belongs to Aiden. I can totally understand Ashley’s apprehension in taking their relationship one step further, but I’m hoping they straighten out this mess that involves an engagement ring and Spencer’s best friend, Aiden. Spencer needs to show Ashley how much she loves her by breaking up with the man that is keeping the girls from moving ahead in their relationship. By the way, Franklin and Pete? Never saw that one coming! Another great update! PMS
