Helen and Nikki unsure what to do with their future decided to take one step at a time. Helen decided to quit the Home Office entirely and go back to school and study law while Nikki went back to work at Chix and take on more responsibility at the club. As Chix turned over a favourable profit year after year, Nikki decided to get into other business ventures which proved to be quite lucrative. The couple was able to move into the posh end of London where lawyers and bankers made their homes. Nikki took some night courses on the evenings she was off to further pursue a MBA and she felt quite confident with life in general. As Helen was nearing the completion of her law studies, she approached Nikki with an engagement ring.   Helen and Nikki had been living together for three years and it seemed to pass so quick and the two were still smitten with one another and the sex was getting better and better. Helen could not understand the depth of their emotional and physical relationship but she wanted to marry Nikki, to make sure the world knew that she was all Helen’s. She was extraordinarily proud of the tall brunette and the way she took care of Helen, to put her through school, maintain a business and love her unconditionally. She felt so safe and secure in Nikki’s arms. Helen had planned this for a year, thinking of a romantic way to propose. She proposed in their garden at home where Nikki was often found tending too, Helen got on one knee while Nikki was grabbing a hoe from the potting shed. Nikki found Helen on one knee with a ring box in her hands. Nikki in complete shock stared at her for a good few moments before she found her voice. her emotion had overwhelmed her and so all she could do was nod in agreement to Helen’s proposal.    

A romantic and elegant wedding followed six months later as they were wed at a golf course in Scotland. Helen had not made amends with her father over her relationship with Nikki but it was civil and he managed to give her away while chewing on his disappointment on his daughter’s choice in mate. Nikki stood proud at the altar and teared when she watched Helen come down the aisle and proceed to seal their life together in matrimony. They honeymooned for a month in Italy and enjoyed being married as Mrs. Stewart-Wade. While they were on their honeymoon, Nikki wanted to share with Helen that she wanted to start a family, she wanted to try for a baby. She wanted to give birth to a baby–Helen’s baby.
