Ashley stepped in front of me and unlocked the drama room door. She pulled it open and turned back around the me, motioning with her hands for me to go in. I silently thanked her and walked in. I made my way over to the back table and sat down. I could hear Ashley close behind me. Once we were both sitting, it was a few minutes of silence before Ashley spoke up.

"Spencer, I can’t stress enough that I’m so so sorry." She said sincerly, looking up from the spot on the floor she had been stairing at since we got in.

"Why’d you do it?"

"I was scared."

"Of?"

"Like I said before, ruining both of our lives."

"Don’t you think that I’m old enough to make my own decision?"

"Yeah, but I wanted to protect you."

"From?"

"Me." She whispered.

"Look, Ashley. We’ve already had this conversation. So lets just……. talk about something else."

"Ok. Soooo, you and Aiden huh?"

"Yeah." I smiled. I think I sensed a hint of jealousy in her voice.

"When did you guys get together?"

"When you dumped me."

"Ya know, you can’t really say I dumped you because we were never really offical." Ashley cockily stated.

"So then, what were we?"

"Meant to be." She smirked. Woah, I wasn’t expecting that. But it was sweet and I couldn’t contain my smile.

"I missed you." I told her, softly.

"I missed you too." Suddenly, her faced changed. "I was thinking about what you said last night, about how I just wanted you now because you’re turning 18 in two days. That’s not true, you know that right?"

"Well, to be honest. There is part of me that does believe that."

"I really like you. I never lied to you about that. And for the past two months, I haven’t even looked at another women, because everytime I do, I think of you. I know it sounds kinda cheesey, but it’s true." I never knew I meant so much to her.

"Can we just put this behind us?" I sighed. I didn’t even know what else to say. And I didn’t want to go through the pain again.

"I thought you would never ask."
