Rude Comments and Silent Tears. – (Chapter: Just So Kou Know.)

I shouldn’t love you but I want to
    I just can’t turn away
    I shouldn’t see you but I can’t move
    I can’t look away

I shouldn’t love you but I want to
    I just can’t turn away
    I shouldn’t see you but I can’t move
    I can’t look away
    And I don’t know
How to be fine when I’m not
    ‘Cause I don’t know
How to make a feeling stop

    Just so you know
This feeling’s taking control of me
    And I can’t help
    I won’t sit around
I can’t let ‘em win now
    Thought you should know
I’ve tried my best to let go of you
    But I don’t want to
I just gotta say it all before I go
    Just so you know

    "SPENCER!"

    "What?"

    "Come down here please!"

Sighing, I push myself off my bed. And turn of the stereo. I was laying here just enjoying the peace and quiet, Mother Dearest just had to ruin it. Can you feel the love? Today is my birthday and all I really want right now is to be alone. I know I turning 18 and I should be out parying, but I can’t. Ever since my little chat with Ashley, I can’t stop thinking about her. Was forgeting this really a good idea? I thought so at the time, but there is still so much more I have to say. Swinging the door open and trotting down the stairs, I’m met with my shouting mother.

    "What’s going on, honey?"

    "What do you mean?"

"Why are moping around the house? It’s your 18th birthday for crying out loud! I thought Aiden was going to take you out tonight?"

"I am not moping." To my mom, if you’re not jumping for joy around the house and sreaming like a little five year old child on Christmas morning, you’re moping.

"What about Aiden?" I swear. She likes that boy way to much.

"I told him that I wanted to be alone tonight."

    "And he just took that?"

"Ummmm. If he didn’t, would I be here right now?" That was a dumb question.

"Don’t get smart with me." She said, pointing at me with her finger.

"Don’t treat me like a kid, Mom." I’m 18 and I’m sick of this shit.

"Treat you like a kid? You want me to treat you like a kid? Fine. I’m calling Aiden right now, and I’m telling him to get over here and take you out somewhere."

"Paula, she’s 18. Let her do what every she pleases." Did I mention how much I love my daddy.

"Arthur…" She was about to protest but he cut her off.

"No. If she wants to ‘mope’ she can. It’s not your decision."

"You’re just going to let out daughter sit here all night?"

    "Yes."

    "You’re unbelieveable!"

I stood there watching my parents bicker back and forth. My mom doesn’t give up that easily. And neither does my dad. I could stop the giggle that was making it’s way up my throat. As soon as it left my mouth, my mom and dad suddenly stopped. My mom have me a glazed, but my dad lauged along with me. I could see the shocked expression on her face. She opened her mouth, I’m sure to make a complaint, but the door bell stopped her. Oh God, I hope it’s not Aiden.

"Spencer, are you expecting anyone?" My dad questioned.

    "Nope."

"Hmmmm. I wonder who it could be." He said almost to himself, while he walked to the front door.

I could hear the muffles of the conversation between the person at the door and my father. It sounded like a women’s voice. The door shut and footsteps made their way over to my and my mom. As the two rounded the cornor my jaw dropped.

"Hey, Spence." What is she doing here!?
