Ch. 7 Pt. II: Ashley’s POV
“Ohhhh… Ashley.” Spencer said, blushing crimson. “Spencer, honestly, you look sort of like a tomato.” I teased, snorting with laughter. She smacked me on the arm. “You’re ruining the moment, Davies. But thank you, so much, Ash.” She said, smiling at me shyly, trying it on. The chain was encrusted with diamonds, and a heart shaped locket of gold hung off of it. The locket opened up to hold 2 heart shaped photos I’d cut out of me her. I really hope I wasn’t being too romantic and scaring her off. I mean, Spencer has yet to say that she loves me. To be honest, I’m kind of scared and nervous tonight. I want to tell her those 3 words, but I’m so afraid that she may not feel the same. Am I rushing this? Am I setting myself up for a nasty heartbreaking?
Spencer leaned over the table to hug me softly. The pendant looked perfect on her, just like I knew it would. I looked into those brilliantly blue eyes, hoping she could hear my silent plea: Please don’t break my heart. “Would you like to dance, Ash?” she asked, tilting her head and slipping her hand under mine. Now you might be thinking that she’d suddenly gotten bold about the whole being with me thing, but no. It’s because this nice restaurant I found, well, it is rather gay friendly, so it’s not like any people would be staring at us whatsoever. There were plenty of other rich gay people in here, for example. Another woe I have. I hope Spencer relaxes and realizes she needs to just be herself, and not care about what other people think sometimes. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know who she is! I don’t want to pressure her either, because I know if I say the wrong things, she might just get up and leave me completely. It’s up to her to try and figure out who she really is. I can only wait and hope that she is the person that wants to be with me, too.
Of course I said yes, I mean, if Spencer had asked me to cut off my limbs for her, I would’ve gladly gotten it done, smiling the entire time. I know. I am so whipped one day I won’t even know it anymore. But I don’t care. Spencer’s my world. There I go again. Anyhow, we made our way to the dance floor they had in the middle of the restaurant, with a band playing slow, soft, romantic music. I sighed, happily. This was perfect. Spencer soon rested her head on my shoulder, and I took her hand, and put my other one on her waist while her other hand was on my other shoulder. I led, of course. Spencer smoothly followed, and I couldn’t help but take a whiff of her hair. The smell of her orgasmic Herbal Essences shampoo and floral scented perfume was intoxicating. “So, how would you rate today, on a scale of 10 to 10, Spencer?” I asked, proud that I had made today pleasing for both of us. Spencer looked up at me and grinned. “A little confident, aren’t we? I say a -10.” She said, then putting her head back down on my shoulder and looking away. “NEGATIVE 10?!” I asked in shock, almost yelling.

True love only happens once in a lifetime and missing that opportunity would be devastating to a heart…Spencer needs to accept the fact that she is madly in love with Ashley and let go of the worlds opinions and hold on for dear life to the one true love of her life…Ashley.
