“Yea sorry about that. Umm where were we?”

“Oh you were just so excited that I was giving you ugly self some love.”

“Spencer Carlin who are you calling ugly? Have you looked at me lately? Maybe this day apart has clouded you mind. Hold on.” I heard a click then, a received a message. It was a picture of Ashley smiling at me.

“Oh sorry Ash, you are so beyond ugly. How could I be so wrong? This picture is so going on my screensaver.”

“My picture on your screensaver? Does that mean we are exclusive?”

“Do you want to be exclusive?”

“Umm hell yea, but maybe we should go on a date first. I haven’t really kissed you yet, so…”

 Ashley Davies wanted to kiss me. This is so weird. One day we are enemies, the next we are research partners, then friends and now she wants to kiss me. I so love LA.

“Spencer?”

“Yea?”

“Kali wants to talk to you, but don’t hang up.”

“Spencer! I miss you.”

“Little Miss Kali I miss you too.”

“Well come over. We so need you. Ashley made breakfast this morning because she wanted me to be able to tell you that she is learning to cook for your sake, she so loves you. But she so burned everything. But at least we left the kitchen with clean clothes still on.” That got both of us to laughing. Ashley wanted to learn how to cook for me, that made me blush.

“I would love to come over, but I can’t we are having family day today, but what if I ask my mom can you and Ashley come over. Would you like that?”

“Can your mom cook?”

“No, but my dad can and it is better than mines.”

“We are so over there. See you later.” I heard her yell for Ashley then A sweet voice gets on the phone. “So dinner at you place today?”

“I have to ask my mom first, but I am sure it would be ok. Besides Dylan has been asking about Kali, so if Dylan wants it Dylan gets it.”
