Chapter 8

One week. One week I had to share my girlfriend with her ex. Yep, you heard it right Spencer Carlin is my exclusive girlfriend now.  I took her out yesterday for a day on miniature golf and on the 18^th hole I asked her to be my girlfriend. She said yes and we have not been apart since then. Seriously, I even ended up spending the night at her place because she did not want me out of her sight. When we got to her house and informed Kali that Spencer was my girlfriend now. Kali was beyond excited which got Dylan excited as well, which made Spencer more excited. Spencer loved Dylan more than anyone. She adored him and it showed. She was always so patient with him and she would listen to him talk for hours. She had informed me that he was autistic and had to explain to me what that meant. I never got any of those signs from him because he was so friendly with Kali and he even hugged me when I would visit.

Well anyway, we were now on our way to pick up Spencer’s ex from the airport. Then we were suppose to spend the day together and I was suppose to be on my best behavior. I would be fine as long as she didn’t rub me the wrong way and from that conversation we had on the phone she was already rubbing me wrong.

             I was sitting in a chair at the airport with Spencer leaning against me when her ex came through the door and Spencer jumped up all smiles.

“Tory!”

“Spencer!” They both run and hugged each other and I just stood up and looked at them. Oh gosh this is going to be a long week.

“Tory this is Ashley.” Spencer dragged the girl over to me and introduced her. “Ashley this is one of my best friends, Tory.”

“Hey”

“Hi.” She gave me the once over then turned her attention back to Spencer. “So Spencey-Pooh I missed you.” Who the hell was Spencey-Pooh?

“I missed you too Tory. I am so glad you are here. We are going to have so much fun, right Ash?” I smiled that fake smile of mines
