“I can’t just let you walk out of my life Ashley…” Spencer said as a tear fell down her face.

Ashley’s eyes softened for a moment but she stood firmly. “I never said I was walking out of your life…I just don’t want to talk about this right now. Now please move.”

Spencer sighed heavily. She was in a way relieved that Ashley had said that she wasn’t leaving the blonde’s life but she wanted to know where she stood in Ashley’s mind. Did she still love her the same as before?

Ashley placed a hand on Spencer’s shoulder and lightly pushed Spencer to the side. Spencer didn’t resist this time and watched as Spencer made her way out of the room.

Spencer went back to their bed and sat just staring at the door. She looked around the room and took a deep breath. She stood and headed towards their closet to find herself an outfit. She pulled a dark blue pant suit out and laid it on the bed.

She headed towards the bathroom to start her shower and to get ready for work. She had to make this up to Ashley and show her that she really did love her. She had come to the realization when Ashley had disappeared that she wanted to be Ashley’s wife more than anything.

She knew that it wouldn’t be easy to win Ashley’s heart back but she wasn’t planning to throw her hands up and surrender. She was going to get Ashley back she was sure of it.

Ashley sat in her chair and stared at the far wall of her office as she thought about the situation she was in. She still loved Spencer there was no question about that but she wasn’t sure if the wedding was still a good idea.

They had rushed into a relationship and were equally rushing into a marriage. She wanted Spencer by her side but with the recent incidents she wasn’t sure if Spencer’s heart was fully in their relationship.

She saw the remorse in Spencer’s eyes that morning when she left but she wasn’t sure if the remorse was real. She wanted to believe Spencer when she said that she was sorry but it just wasn’t something easy for the brunette to do. Her whole life had been filled with disappointment and to find the love of her life added to that list was just overwhelming.
