The phone rings

Spencer’s upstairs getting ready and Ashley’s waiting downstairs on the couch.

After the third ring Ashley is annoyed and answers it.

“What!” She snaps.

“Umm Is the Carlin residence?” The man on the other end asks hesitantly.

“Who wants to know?” Ashley asks, bluntly.

“Umm this Dr.Rodgers and I have some very bad news.” He says sadly.

“What is it?” Ashley asks casually.

“Paula Carlin has butt cancer and only has 2 months to live.” He says with tears in his eyes.

“Whats the bad news?” She asks highly annoyed.

“Umm I just told you.” He said confused.

“Oh, well then thanks for letting us know, I have party arrangements to make now, so bye.” She hangs up the phone.

“Hey Spence.” Ashley calls from downstairs.

“Yeah.” Spencer calls back.

“Your mom’s dying of cancer in the ass.” Ashley says happily.

“That’s nice, Hey when should we start making funeral arrangements?” She asks from upstairs.

“Umm after the pre death party.” She says, with s shrug

After the great news Ashley and Spencer went out clubbing to celebrate.

“So how long do you think it will take her to die?’ Ashley asks while sipping coke and meds that she borrowed from Glen (and paid for)

“Well I hope soon, so I can kick my dad out, He always sleeps on the couch anyway, and I can have their room.” Spencer says, picturing it now.

“Hey where is your mom anyway?” Ashley asks curiously, and slightly high,

“Oh. I don’t know probably sleeping with dr.Rodgers to take the pain away” Spencer says with a shrug.

“How come she doesn’t do that with Arthur?” Ashley slurred

“Oh well she gets bored and goes around dark alleys by the ghetto and tries to pick up pimps and gay men” Spencer explained bluntly.

“Oooo Well that would explain clay” Ashley comments

“ Yeah he and glen have the same father and moms not sure if I’m Arthur ‘s child or not either.”

“Well you guys don’t look very much alike.”

Spencer agrees then they go home and spread the good news
