P.S. I Love You

 Brooke and I have been engaged about two months now…and we’ve been together over two years…things used to be so damn easy until Spencer showed up back home, and decided to stay. “what are you going to do about Nash?” Aiden asked me “hello…earth to Davies…”

“huh what? sorry” I told him “I’m just…there’s a lot going on in my head right now…”

“yeah? Does any of it have to do with a blond and a brunette…one of which you’re engaged to?” he asked me

“maybe…” I told him

“look I really don’t know what to tell you…personally I think if Spencer can come back into your life you can make it work again, but that’ll take time…then again I love Brooke too and she’s good for you…she keeps you balanced…”

“what if I don’t want to be balanced?” I asked him

“well…can you picture not knowing what’s going to happen tomorrow?” he asked me “I mean you’re the most organized person I know…and you have been for a while now…just whatever you do, make sure you stay focused here…with the label” he told me getting up “…I’ll call Kate…tell her about the shows, then see if I can get her in here for a production meeting” he said walking out of my office

“Aiden can you shut the door…” I told him then he came back and closed it leaving me alone…just me time, which could pay off or not.

I went into my drawer and pulled out a picture of Spencer that I had framed of me and her at a party a few weeks ago…just being around her. I mean, I don’t know what it was…with Brooke I feel safe, but with Spencer…every time I’m around her my heart beats out of my chest and I can’t get enough of it.

“Ashley…Spencer’s on line two…” my secretary paged me

“thanks…” I said picking it up “…hey”

“hey yourself…” she replied

“so what’s going on?” I asked her

“uh I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner tonight?”

“um…yeah that’s no problem…Brooke’s in New York tonight so…”

“ok, uh what time do you want to meet up?” she asked

“well where are we going?” I replied laughing a little cause she was getting ahead of herself
