    “Because that bastard beats her and I don’t care if I do go jail. I would do it again and more. It was so worth it.”

    “What else?”

    “That I have to fix this.” I sob again as I go limp on the bed. I’m running out of strength to deal with all of this.

    “I agree but your solution isn’t the right one.” Spencer says quietly

    “Spencer, you just don’t understand. When he gets out he’s not only going to come after me but he’s now going to come after you guys too. I will never forgive myself if something happens to you guys because of me.” I sob out

    “Listen, Ashley. Like I told you before, we can take care of ourselves. We’re not afraid of him” Spencer says confidently

    I just shut my eyes and whimper, “I just don’t know what to do anymore.”

    “Ash, just leave him. Why would you want to marry someone who treats you like this? Love shouldn’t hurt like this Ashley. It should make you so, so happy. You deserve real love.” Spencer whispers

    “I don’t know if I can. He was so good to me.”

    “The operate word in that sentence is was, Ashley. That was in the past. Now he’s turned into a nightmare.” Spencer says fiercely

    Logically I agree with what she’s saying but emotionally I’m just having such a hard time with it. My mind is replaying all the wonderful times we had at the beginning as well as the horrible ones. All the things he’s told me about being worthless, etc, etc are also replaying. I’m so scared, confused, hurt. I’m so lost.

    After a few minutes of silence Spencer says, “Talk to me.”

    I just look at her and whisper, “I’m so scared and confused.”

    She just softly says with sincerity, “That’s okay. We’ll help you through this. If you want I’ll find you the best psychologist to help you sort this stuff out. You’re not alone. We won‘t let him hurt you anymore. I promise.”

    I just stare into those beautiful blue eyes of hers and try to figure out why she’s doing all of this. I just don’t get it. We’ve know each other for such a short amount of time and I’m becoming so dependent on her for everything. She’s getting power over me that even Aiden never had. She can easily make me feel happy, sad, excited, safe and every other emotion you can think of. Even loved. This is happening so fast.

    5. great update.. i absolutely loved how spence kicked aiden in the balls awesome!! i’m glad she was able to convince ash not to bail aiden out of jail and to finally leave him. i just hope it works out okay.hey you notice that just about in every fic i’ve read kyla’s always interrupting our lovely spashley duo?haha again great update!!!pms!!

    7. you left me in tears. this was by the fr the part of the story. i was so happy when aiden was getting rrested. and then when ashley said she was going to bail him out. i almost had a heart attack. and then spencer and ashley. and the kissing. and the talking. way too cute. haha. anyways ive lost myself in this story so just PMS :]

    15. That ending was just so friggin cute! For a minute it made me forget about the whole Aiden thing. I’m glad Ashley’s finally accepting that Aiden’s not what he use to be. And I’m REALLY glad Spencer was there to protect Ashley. I just wish Ash would have pressed charges. Well, things are happening little by little, so I guess that’s good. Anyway, Great Update, PMASAP!!!!!!
