    Author Notes:

    “Because that bastard beats her and I don’t care if I do go jail. I would do it again and more. It was so worth it.”

    I immediately start looking for my phone in my lab coat I begin cursing under my breath because I don’t have it. It’s charging upstairs. Shit!! I look at Maddy and demand, “Maddy, give me your cell phone.”

    She frowns and says, “ I don’t have it. I forgot it in my car.”

    I shriek, “Fuck,” and run to the hospital phone they have in the cafeteria. After what seemed an eternity the operator finally got me an outside line and I dialed Kyla’s number praying that she wouldn’t ignore it because she didn’t know the number. On the second ring she answers and says, “Spencer?”

    “What’s going on, Kyla” I ask immediately. My knot is already beginning to knot because of what I’m hearing in the background. There was pounding and screaming. I can hear Ashley scream, “Leave, Aiden. I don’t want to talk to you right now!!”

    “Aiden’s trying to get in.” Kyla says surprisingly calm

    Wish I could be the same. I shriek, “Whatever you do, don’t let him in! Call 911! I’m on my way!”

    “The police isn’t going to help if Ashley doesn’t cooperate.” Kyla sighs as the background noise gets louder.

    “Yes, they can. It’s your damn apartment Kyla. Tell them he’s trying to break in and that you want to press charges.” I say harshly

    “Shit, you’re right!! I’ll call them right now. Are you coming?” Kyla shrieks

    “I’m coming, I’m coming.” I say impatiently. I so want to end this conversation so that I can go.

    “See you here. Be careful when you get here.” Kyla says and then she hangs up

    I drop the phone and run out of the cafeteria. I take the stairs up 4 flights and go into the Dr’s lounge. I grab my stuff and as I turn I’m surprised to find Maddy trying to catch her breath. In a way I’m relieved she’s there so that she can help me out. I tell her, “Maddy, tell Nichols I had an emergency and had to leave.”

    “What’s going on?” Madison gasps as she continues to catch her breath

    I just run past her and say, “Just tell him will you. I’ll explain later.”

    As I’m running down the hallway I hear her call out, “He’s not going to like it.”

    5. great update.. i absolutely loved how spence kicked aiden in the balls awesome!! i’m glad she was able to convince ash not to bail aiden out of jail and to finally leave him. i just hope it works out okay.hey you notice that just about in every fic i’ve read kyla’s always interrupting our lovely spashley duo?haha again great update!!!pms!!

    7. you left me in tears. this was by the fr the part of the story. i was so happy when aiden was getting rrested. and then when ashley said she was going to bail him out. i almost had a heart attack. and then spencer and ashley. and the kissing. and the talking. way too cute. haha. anyways ive lost myself in this story so just PMS :]

    15. That ending was just so friggin cute! For a minute it made me forget about the whole Aiden thing. I’m glad Ashley’s finally accepting that Aiden’s not what he use to be. And I’m REALLY glad Spencer was there to protect Ashley. I just wish Ash would have pressed charges. Well, things are happening little by little, so I guess that’s good. Anyway, Great Update, PMASAP!!!!!!
