    “She may love you but she’s in love with me. There’s a huge difference. So I suggest you back off.” I sneer

    Two hours later, the apartment was clean and we were cuddling on the couch watching Celebrity Apprentice. I’m not a big fan of reality shows but the only reason I watch this one is because Gene Simmons is on it. The way I figure having two self described alpha males in the same room will make for some very interesting entertainment. I’ll probably stop watching if Gene gets fired.

    “Baby, how about we stay home tonight. I’m tired.” Spencer says as she yawns

    I pick up my head from her chest and say, “Well, that’s up to you and your friends. But I think I would like to stay home, too. I’m tired. Band practice was draining.”

    Spencer kisses my forehead and asks, “Okay, we’ll tell them when they get here.”

    I just nod my head and snuggle myself back against her chest and continue to watch T.V. After a while Spencer softly asks, “How’s the singing coming?”

    “Okay, I’m really nervous. We’re going to do one of my songs. I just wrote it.” I say

    “That sounds great. I‘m sure you‘ll be awesome.” Spencer murmurs as she begins to rub my back

    “I hope you like it. I kind of wrote it for you,” I say nervously

    “Oh really?” Spencer says surprised

    I just nod my head.

    “Why don’t you sing it for me now? I don’t think I can wait that long.” Spencer asks hopefully

    “Nope, you’ll just have to wait. I’m still working the kinks out of it.” I say firmly

    “You’re mean,” Spencer pouts

    I chuckle and then we hear the doorbell. I jump up to my feet and as Spencer sits up she says, “This is not over, babe. We’ll talk about this later.”

    Telling her about the song was obviously not a good idea. I have a feeling she’s going to badger me now but its okay. I will not cave in on this. She’ll hear it when she goes and sees me at the club.

    Since I don’t want to argue with her I just kiss her head and she gets up to open the door. I can’t believe I’m nervous. I guess Maddy is okay but Allison makes my stomach knot. I hope it goes well for Spencer’s sake. I hear them exchange greetings at the door and then they make their way to the living room.
