“I told you I’d think about it.” Ashton frowns
“Well, think about it fast because we’re not leaving without you.” A.J. says firmly
“And we leave in 4 days. We need to be back for their anniversary.” Alexis adds softly
Ashton was in shock. They actually expected her to leave her entire life in New York in four days. They just think it’s easy for her to go back to all those memories. Worse they wanted her to go see her Mom and Mama. She just wasn’t ready to face them. At this point she didn’t think she’d ever be ready. What are they thinking?
“If you guys think I’m leaving in 4 days you are going to be beyond disappointed.” Ashton says angrily
“Nothing is keeping you here. You don’t belong here Ashton. You belong with us. It’s time for you to stop being so stupid.” Alexis says calmly
“I’m not being stupid. You just don’t understand.” Ashton shot back angrily
“I understand that you are blaming yourself for something that is not your fault and you’re punishing you’re self for it. It’s time you stop before you waste your life away.” Alexis says firmly
“I’m not wasting anything away. I have a job, friends, a life here. I’m happy.” Ashton responds
“Bull shit. We can see it in your eyes. You’re not happy. You will never be happy till you face the past, accept it and move on. Right now you’re just settling for and okay life when you could a wonderful one. A life full of love, success, family, a career that is in your blood.” A.J. says firmly
Ashton frustrated begins to angrily pace in front of the fire place and screams, “Don’t you understand!! If it wasn’t for me nothing would of happened!! I made all of us go out that night!! It’s my fault!!!”
“You didn’t know what was going to happen.” Alexis says calmly
“None of us didn’t even have a clue that what happened was even possible till it was too late.” A.J. softly added
“Ashton, are you scared that Dylan and Michael might try to hurt you again? Because if you are don’t be. Aunt Kyla and I took care of them.” Alexis says firmly
Ashton confused asks, “You took care of them?”
“Let’s just say that they will never take a foot outside of jail alive again.” Alexis says coldly
“You guys didn’t?” Alexis asks dumbfounded
Alexis shrugs her shoulders and says, “Accidents happen and they deserved what they got.”
Ashton looks at A.J. in shock and asks, “Did you know about this?”
A.J. says quietly, “Yes, I did and I also gave the go ahead.”
“I can’t believe you guys did that.” Ashton croaks out
“What the hell did you think we were going to do Ashton? The bastards only got 5 years for what they did to you. Five fucking years. There was no way in hell we were going to just stand back and let them be released so that they could hurt you again. No way in fucking hell.” A.J. says passionately
“But…” Ashton starts but is cut off
“No buts. What’s done is done. So if those bastards are the reason you don’t want to go home then now you know you have nothing to worry about.” Alexis says firmly
“That’s not it!!” Ashton cried
“What is it then!!!” A.J. yells back
Ashton just collapses on the floor in a fit of tears and whimpers out, “I-I j-ust can’t face them.”
Both Alexis and A.J. go down on the floor, wrap their arms around her and while rocking her they keep repeating the same thing over and over again. “Not your fault. We need you.”

Both Spencer and Ashley watch the scene with tears running down their faces.

LOL, yea love-stoned, they’re turning into the mafia, lol. I’ve got so many questions, what’d Alexis and Kyla do to those idiots? What sent all of the kids into depression? And why is Ashton so afraid to go see her parents. Well, that’s only 3 questions, but still…it’s a lot, lol. Ash and Spence make up sex…HOTT! I just love this story, you write it so well and keep the readers (including me :]) coming back for more. Great update, PMASAP!!!!!!

I bow to your greatness because seriously this story is awesome. I hope Ashton realizes her parents have been through bigger screw-ups and still love her unconditionally. Oh and thanks for reading and reviewing my story, I’ll be posting either later today or tomorrow and I just hope that you’ll forgive me for the horribleness that will be Spangs.
