“Five” I interjected.

“One minute and fifty-nine”

I groaned in disapproval, but cut right to the chase.

“First of all I’d like to apologize for how I acted toward you tonight Spencer. I know you were just trying to help and it was wrong of me to push you away.”

“Damn right”

“Please let me finish.” I said sternly and she got silent. “Tonight something came up and the way I went about handling it sucked, I know, but you gotta understand Spencer you mean the world to me. I love you so much that it’s almost scary.”

I’m trying my best to hold back tears as I pour my heart out to my girlfriend through an intercom.

“Ash I wish you would have just talked to me. If you really love me as much as I love you then you have to learn to trust me to help you, no matter what the issue is. I’ll be here for you no matter what.”

I smile at her words as tears begin to roll down my cheeks.

“Baby I know you’re here for me and I’ll always be there for you too. And in the future I promise to never ever take my problems out on you like that again. That is if you’ll forgive me.” I whispered the last part a little afraid of how she’d respond.

The silence on her end seemed to last an eternity. I felt as though everything happening around me was one horrible nightmare and I was so desperate to wake up. The cold night’s air chilled my skin, adding shivers to my already trembling body. The trembling being a response of my fear.

It had been over two minutes since Spencer’s last words and the chances of her responding were looking rather slim. Using my sleeve to wipe the remaining tears from my eyes, I turned away from the building with all hope lost.

Just as I was about to leave, I felt a hand grab at my wrist and I was pulled back into the stairwell. Within the blink of an eye soft lips were pressed to mine in a passionate and needy kiss. I didn’t even need to open my eyes to realize whose body had me pinned up against the wall and whose tongue was battling with mine. I smiled into the kiss as Spencer led us into the elevator, making sure to never break contact with my lips.

“God Spence, I’m so sorry” I moaned out as she nipped at my pulse point.

“Shhh baby, I forgive you.”

Things got pretty hot and heavy in the elevator for the duration of the ride, but what was to come was even better. Not that I’d ever wish a fight like this on Spencer and I ever again, but makeup sex has to be the best I’ve ever had.
