Sara: “She’s still throwing up, Gage, is that bad?” I hear from another shower as Jess brings me down to the floor and shuts off the water.
Jessica: “You’re okay now, Spencer.” She gives me another small smile and I nod once, dumbly, at her. She inspects me for a moment, bites her lip, and pulls me to her as I start to shiver.
Kelly: “Sarie?” The sound of the bathroom door makes Jess lift and turn her head.
Sara: “Fourth stall.”
Kelly: “They just took her away. Thomas has managed to hold them off for a little while but we need to make progress fast. She’s coming here after she talks to Cleeden.” I hear her say.
Spencer: “Where’s Assshley?” I sputter out through my chattering jaw. Jess looks down at me and hesitates; I can tell whatever is going on is bad. “Where’s Ashley!” I ask with conviction this time as I struggle against Jess and try to stand.
Sara: “Spencer, thank God.” She says as she appears at the mouth of the stall. She enters the shower and bends down to hug me. Behind her, Kelly emerges and she too takes me in her arms. I watch over their shoulders as Jess hurriedly exits the shower. “Thank you, S
pencer. Thank you so much. Thank you for getting there in time.”
I hear more vomiting and I know that it is Ashley.
Spencer: “What happened?!” I demand as I try to tear myself from their arms.
Kelly: “Spence, you’re not ready to get up yet.”
Spencer: I want to see Ashley, tell me what happened!” Tears start to well in Sara’s eyes and it causes me to act calmly, for the moment anyway. And it is also a trigger for my own tears.
Kelly: “Go.” She says, looking at her girlfriend. “I’ll tell her.” Kelly reaches over and places a soft kiss on her girlfriend’s lips before Sara rushes out of the stall, leaving me and Kelly alone as she sits on the shower floor with me half sitting, half lying in her arms.
Spencer: “Kelly…wwhhhaatt hahappened?” I sputter out, jaw again chattering. Yes, I was freezing, but I was shaking all over, more due to terror than anything else. I tried to get up once again, but Kelly easily restrains me.

Ah, amazing as usual! I know that she put her in the hospital and everything and that’s horrible, but is it wrong that I totally internally cheered when Spencer kicked Samantha’s ass? Cause I did. And the dykey cop? I was cracking up.

okay wow spencer has got a lot of support for getting out of that mess, kind of sucks the cops think sam is lying about her attacker but than again it gets the bitch out of the school yay…so glad the principal is making spencer get counsiling and i so hope that plane ticket is to ohio and that all her roommates go with her cuz that will rock pms
omg this was an awesome chapter. i love how everyone came together to help save Spencer’s ass. So is spence going to Ohio to face her demons. can’t wait for the next post. PMS

Spencer has come a long way – she couldn’t defend herself before but she was totally there for Ashley! Albeit a little bit out-of-control. Cleeden has totally redeemed himself in my eyes! I was afraid that Spencer would have to go to jail. Of all the scenarios, I expected never the quick cover-up, alibis, getting all the stories straight … Somehow, I don’t feel sorry for Sam, she’s evil! I always love how Spencer recounts her stories- she like, turns into this total, like, valley girl. And where is she headed? Ready to face her ghosts, I hope?

That was wicked amazing b. Like seriously I have been in wack crisis situations like that and everyone is moving and doing shit and a few people are wasted or confused. And oh my fuck principal fucking cleeden for the epic win! I love how hes so protective over his trouble making lesbos. Ugh i love this story so hard. You are amazing. The way you write drunk Spencer is hilarious and still my favorite but lying to the authorities Spencer is a close second! I may need your address because the panties I’m wearing, right now, belong to you.

Yep, intense was the first word that came to mind after reading that. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. I was thinking that the girls would have to use their influence at a higher level than the Principle (maybe they did?) but the fact the two teachers helped out was cool. I also thought they way Spencer played the police officers was funny….heck, who could resist a sweet, innocent Spencer??. Totally Awesome!!

woah, so overwhelming! You know what i sensed…? that even though things were pretty messy everyone seemed to keep their cool and not engaging panic-mode. I don’t think the situation could hv been handled any better than it was.
