Spencer: “You sure you don’t need any help?”
; I call out to Mrs. Hatcher who is in the kitchen getting dinner ready.
Mrs. Hatcher: “No dear, I’m fine.” Ashley and I continue to twiddle our thumbs as we sit on a couch in the living room across from a fast asleep Mr. Hatcher who rests in a reclined armchair with a newspaper opened on his chest.
Ashley: “This is torture.” She mumbles. We’ve been here for over an hour and a half. We were the first to arrive, awesome! Thomas and her husband were expected to arrive in about half an hour and Cleeden and his family would be coming any minute.
We’ve been sitting in this living room with our great conversations the whole time, scolded by the Missus every time we dared to leave the room.
Ashley: “Let’s have sex.” She says, turning to look at me. My eyes brows knit as I wait to hear the joke.
Spencer: “What, are you kidding?”
Ashley: “No! Mrs. Hatcher?” She calls out.
Mrs. Hatcher: “Yes, dear?”
Ashley: “How long until dinner?”
Mrs. Hatcher: “It should be ready by the time Professor Thomas and her husband arrive.”
Ashley: “Okay! See Spence, we’ve got plenty of time!”
Spencer: “So did you want to fuck right here, should we go up to their master bedroom, or slip into one of their bathrooms?” I ask sarcastically.
Ashley: “I don’t care, all of the above.”
Spencer: “All of the above…” I scoff out.
Ashley: “Oh, so what do I have to do, invite a few nuns over to get this party started?”
Spencer: “That’s different…”
Ashley: “Not public enough for ya, Kelly and Sara, need me to wake up Mr. Hatcher? Or, ya wait’n for Cleeden and his family to get here?”
Spencer: “Valid points but this is different, we’re the only ones here. I don’t want to upset Mrs. Hatcher, especially when she was nice enough to invite us!”
Ashley: “Hatcher smatcher, she’s a bitch who likes making students’ lives miserable. Let’s go into the bathroom, we’re great in bathrooms!” I laugh as I watch the excitement spread over her face. There is a steady knock on the door and we both turn our attention to the wall next to the couch we’re sitting on that hides the front door.

whoa.. so NEVER LOOKING AT A CONFESSIONAL THE SAME EVER EVER EVER AGAIN..great up date as usual , cant wait for SD! i thought it was funny how Principal Pimp spoke to them about the observatory and church. Love the Tat idea makes me wanna get another now :)
Whenever you update, my first instinct is to gobble it up and speed read until I get to the end. I then rein myself in, read slowly and savor each word… and how! I always run through the gamut of emotions in each of your chapters, that is what makes you such a fabulous writer. As I was reading Spencer say “…write her a strongly worded email?” I had just taken a sip of my coffee and I almost spit it out – that really cracked me up! Then when Spencer saw Ashley’s tattoo that pulled at my heartstring and just made me sigh. Don’t even get me started on the confessional scene! You are a GENIUS!!!

I’ve only admitted this to one other person but I to was caught having sex in a confessional. The gift of going to Catholic School. I love your stories and cant wait for the update for SD. So keep em coming

ok, all gushing aside, since you already know how much i love you :), i will tell you what i specifically loved about this installment: i loved the “dulcissima.” i googled it right away and actually ended up seeing a video on youtube of a song by that title. it was… inspiring and captivating. i now want to learn latin more than ever :) i also love how ashley goes toe-to-toe with spencer in their flirting, but then unexpectedly admits defeat with a sincere remark that shows the depth of her love for spencer. she does this throughout the story and it really reveals her true character. i agree with taymm15- i would love to practice a little “weird science” and make me an ashley :) and like keepXmeXawake, i find myself reading slowly and repeatedly, reveling in the emotions of every scene. thanks again for another great post :) i dont know how near it is, but im already starting to dread the end of this story :( and jus so you know- if it were a book, id totally buy it :D
if I still went to church I would totally never look at that damn booth the same way EVER AGAIN! holy fucking shit that was brilliant. I was reading it going “they’re so doing in in the confessional aren’t they?” and sure enough! loved the tat addition. so adorable. lol fav line “This green bean casserole thingy is banging, Marge!” you have no idea how hard I laughed thru this entire update! then the ending?!?!? now that’s one hell of a gift! freaking brilliant! pms!

Okay I don’t know if it’s just me, but I want to see some drama like earlier in this story. But AMAZING update, like always. You definitely know how to make the reader feel like they’re there.
It was 3.45am here when I saw you’d posted…did it stop me reading. Hell no! I didn’t have the energy to comment tho’ so I’m back for seconds. What can I say that hasn’t been said before? I think I’ll just stick with ‘you’re a fucking god’ for now! I cannot believe how much sex these two have. I’m so jealous! The tattoo was touching and the revelation about Ash’s writing prowess gives her yet another level. Hmmm, I do enjoy stroking your ego!
