I sit and wait for all the commotion to die down. I sit while Spencer and her family cry and hold on to each other for dear life. I sit and think about this huge secret that I have to hold on to. It easily could break apart her family and in turn break her…….again. So I sit, in silence blending in to the background. I don’t feel like this is really happening, its to much drama, like a soap opera or something… And any minute now spence will tell us she is pregnant and has a brain tumor at the same time or something equally ridiculous. I feel so helpless. I mean what would you do? How far would you go to protect the love of your life? Would you be willing to give up anything and everything just so they could be happy? The scary thing is… I wouldn’t think twice, for her….I would.


“Spencer everything is going to be okay now. He can’t hurt you or your mother anymore.

As paula said that she looked up and caught Ashley locking eyes with her as if telling her she knew about what happened. She gave a slight nod and Ashley gave one right back confirming what paula thought. Arthur broke her of the moment!hen he said



“I know paula, I know. Its just his funeral is soon and we have to go and help plan it like nothing happened, I don’t think I can do that.”


“Arthur, I don’t want my family to know…I can’t go through that, you have to understand. He is dead, and that is all I need. Okay?


“okay paula, but we should get going we have to meet your family for the arrangments.

Ashley said coming out of her trance.


“how are you holding up? You look kind of out of it over there. Arthur asked.

“I know…Spencer is lucky to have a friend like you. He said while taking her in his arms and giving her a tight hug. “do you mind staying and keeping spencer company while we are gone?

“thank you ash, for everything…..paula says with a little smile and nod of her head.

With that said paula and Arthur turned and left the room not before giving there dauhter a hug and a kiss goodbye.


Spencer shut and locked the door behind them, before breaking down in ashleys arms once again.


“Ashley, what am I going to do? This is to much for me to handle.

She said holding on to the brunettes waist and sobbing into her shoulder.


“sh spence, I’ve got you, ill help you through this, your not alone. She was stroking her hair and back trying to calm her.


“I am so lucky to have you, my dad was right, I couldn’t imagine my life without you, please don’t ever leave me.


“Spencer, I love you to much to leave you…willingly.


“I just, I feel like my life is spinning out of control and the only time my head stops is when I’m holding or kissing you. As she said that she lifted her head off of ashleys shoulder and gazed lovingly into her eyes.”make it stop ash, please.


Spencer leaned forward and captured the brunettes lips in a scorching kiss, and started tugging at the hem of ashleys shirt. She was just barley grazing the brunettes abs, but she could tell that she was on fire. Ashley pulled back from the kiss for much needed air.


“Spencer, are you sure you want to do this? I mean with everything going on?


“ash, I have wanted to do this for as long as I can remember. I just want to forget the world right now, and be with you, my girlfriend. Can you understand that?

“ash, if its with you, then its everything I need it to be. She said while lifting up ashleys chin and locking eyes with her giving her a smile.


With that said ash leaned in and kissed Spencer with such passion and longing they both moaned in each others mouths. Spencer slowly lifted ashleys shirt above her head breaking the kiss for only a second. Ashley did the same to Spencer. They both just stared at each other with awe.
