I Promise… – (Chapter: Who In The World Is Chauncey?)

"I will." I dunno, I like Spencers friends, they were really cool.

"Hey, maybe you guys could come to LA for spring break." Spencer said with a bright smile.

"We’ll see what we can do." Lauren said as she hugged me and Spencer at the same time.

"Jonathon!" I yelled, getting his attenion. He threw his arms around my legs, he was the smalest kid I’d ever seen considering his head barely reached my waist and he was almost 7. I mean, I wasn’t really that tall. "I’ll miss you, dude."

"Can I talk to you on my birthday?" He asked as I knelt down on one knee in front of him.

"Sure, just call Spencer and I’ll be there, dude."

"Good." He said as he threw his arms around my neck. "I’m gunna miss you, Ashie."

    "I’ll miss you, too."

"No one else plays video games with me.."

    "Not even Lynn?"

"No. She always tells me I’m too bad so she plays by herself."

"Well, too make up for what she says to you, I’ll be sending you a birthday present."

"Okay!" He said, his tone going from sad to excited.

    "Bye, dude."

I walked over to Spencer, who looked uncomfortable. Everyone had said bye to her by now and she was looking out one of the huge windows in the airport.

"Hey." I said, coming up behind her and putting my arms around her, making her jump.

"Don’t do that." She said in a snappy tone.

"Sorry." I said. I guess my tone was kind of snappy too since I felt her relax in my arms.

    "I’m sorry, Ash… I’m just nervous… You know I hate flying."

"I know…" I said as I kissed her cheek. We watched another plane take off the runway and heard our flight be called. "Come on."

    "Ashleyy." She whined.

"Spencerr." I whined back, mocking her. I smiled as I took her hand a dragged her over to the gate with her family. She sighed and let me drag her onto the plane. "Ready for take off?" I said as she buckled her seat bealt.

    "Not even remotely."

I smlied at her and kissed her cheek. "Thats the spirit, Spencer." I looked over at Aiden, wno was sitting across from us. He was next to some fat guy and looked miserable. I stifled a laugh as he glanced over at me. He caught my laugh and glared at me. We both had aisle seats which means Spencer, much to her disappointment got the window. "Hey, Spencer?"
