We pulled up to the house and went inside. Mom wasn’t off from her shift yet, so that’s good. Glen went to bed and immediately crashed. I stayed up and drawed. I heard a knock on my door, probably mom. I said, “Come in.” But it wasn’t mom. It was Ashley.

“Hey beautiful.” She stood in the doorway, smiling at me.

“Woah, how’d you get here?!” I was amazed.

“Oh you know… the fire place.” She smiled.

“Woah, how do you do that?!”

“It’s very complicated. And it wears you out. I might have to be here for like a hour to get my power back up.”

“That’s fine with me.” I smiled.

“Good.” She smiled back.

She came over and sat beside me, wrapping her arms around me looking at my picture.

“What’s that?”

“Just a picture.”

“Of who?”

“You and me.” I smiled.

“Aww babe,” She kissed me. I loved kissing her. “That’s really good.”

“Thank you.” I pecked her lips. She smiled.

“What’s it suppose to be of?”

“Well, you are here, and I’m there and we’re holding hands. The background on your side is the Underworld, and on my side it’s Mount Olympus. It’s our Forbidden Love.”

“Aww, I love it!”

She pulls the picture away from me and sets it on the table. Then she grabs my waist and pulls me into her. She started kissing me very passionately. Our lips moving along with each other in unison. She ran her tongue across my bottom lip and I parted them. She explored my mouth. We continued down this path until I looked at the clock, it was 3:55 am. My mom was suppose to be home at 4:00 am. I pulled back and said,

“You gotta go.”

“Why?” She looked hurt.

“My mom’s suppose to get home in 5 minutes, and she’s never off time.”

“Okay, wanna see how I leave?” She smirked.

“Yes!”

We walked down stairs to the fire place. She was about to walk into it, but I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back and kissed her one last time. She smiled and kissed me again. Then we kept kissing, until I saw my mom’s car lights and said,

“Go, while you can.” I smiled.

“Okay babe.” She smiled and kissed me.

She walked into the fire place, closed her eyes and let out a breath.

“Spencer close your eyes.” She warned, and I did as told. I shielded my eyes and I could feel the fire that had erupted. When I no longer felt it, I looked and she was gone, just was my mom walked in.

“Spencer? What are you doing up?”

“Oh, I couldn’t sleep so I got some water.”

“Oh okay. Well goodnight sweetie, I love you.”

“I love you too mom, night.”

I walked back up to my room and jumped on my bed with a huge smile on my face. I played with the bracelet, I will never take it off. I fall asleep, dreaming of Ashley. Stuff between us that will eventually happen.
