Spencers pov

Before I got the chance to head back into the party Aiden had caught up with me and shuffled me upstairs claiming he needed to speak to me…I hope that isn’t code for something else, I shake those thoughts out of my head straight away I knew Aiden wasn’t like that. We find an empty room and he closes the door behind us.
Aiden: “ Spence” he starts looking at me strangely, it was a look id never seen on him before he was always normally smiling I don’t think id ever seen him frown in all the time id spent with him.

Spencer: “ Whats up Aid? “ I ask trying to lighten the mood, I tap the bed im sitting on trying to get him to come over but he just stands still. Wait is he crying?

Aiden: “ ive got to tell you something” he finally stammers out

Spencer: “ You know you can talk to me Aid what’s wrong?” I ask him sounding worried

Aiden: “ I know this isn’t exactly the right time or place to tell you this but somethings happened and im pretty sure people saw it and well I wanted to be man enough to be the one to tell you first” he finally gets out as another tear rolls down his cheek

Aiden: “ I kissed someone else Spence, Im so sorry” he whispered
I honestly don’t know how I felt about his revelation, confused, angry , upset perhaps even relieved.

Spencer: “ Come here” I patted the bed next to me again. He looked at me with such sadness in his eyes but walked over and sat next to me. I took his hands in mine.

Spencer: “ I love you Aid, but I think we love each other as friends more than girlfriend and boyfriend don’t you think?” I asked. He looked at me again and smiled

Aiden: “ So your not mad?” he asked sounding like a child

Spencer: “ No strangely im completely fine with it” I surprise myself at how I really am fine with my boyfriend cheating on me. He leans over and pulls me into a warm hug, I melt into his arms feeling safe and cared for.
