“Are you in pain?” Ashley rushed out to see if Spencer was alright.
“Not yet… but you will be if you don’t get the fucking keys!!”
“Right!!” She rushed to the backyard and tried every possible way in, but after finding all of them locked, she climbed the tree that went up to the second story window that was open. What am I 16? The last time I did this I was at least gonna get some. The realization finally hit her. Sex was not an option for weeks. She whimpered as she crawled through the window, getting many bruises and a few scrapes along the way. But she ignored them for now. Rushing down the stairs and grabbing the things she left behind, and then rushing out the door.
Spencer’s contractions were still far apart when they reached the hospital. Ashley and Spencer had called their family in the car, so they were already on their way. Paula was standing at the door when they pulled up and rushed over to the car.
“Hey hunny, how are you? Do they hurt yet? Ashley how far apart are they?”
“There’s still lots of time left I think. And she doesn’t seem to be in much pain…”
“Come on Spence let’s get you inside and we can have a professional” she looked pointedly at Ashley “see where we’re at.” Spencer rolled her eyes but nodded and followed her mother into the hospital. Ashley grabbed their things and followed them in.
Paula took the girls to a room and got Spencer comfortable in the bed before turning to Ashley.
“Why don’t you go wait for everyone in the lobby? I’ll stay with Spencer.”
“Like hell I’m going anywhere!” Ashley was sick and tired of trying to push her out of her role in this pregnancy. She had been doing it ever since she they had told her. Ashley was seething at Paula, but one look from Spencer calmed her down. She walked over to Spencer and kissed her forehead.
“I will be right back Spence, ok? Your mom can help you get into one of those gown thingies ok?”
“Ash… actually, can you help me with that? Then you can go out into the lobby.” Ashley looked at her quizzically before looking at Paula. She remembered how insecure the blonde was about her body these last couple of months and nodded.

I cant believe Paula! She’s going to miss out on her daughter and granddaughters life cause she’s so close minded! And pulling that stunt with Scott…not cool. I’m so glad they got through it though! And Spencer told her to leave! I really love this story, its so much more in depth about the girls and their lives together! PMS!

First of all, thanks for the long update. Secondly, this chapter had every emotion imaginable, joy of a beautiful baby girl, laughter when Spencer was squeezing Ashley’s hand, anger when Paula brought Scott into the picture, hatred just because Paula exists, and sheer happiness because Spencer & Ashley have now begun the journey of parenthood with the one they love. Excellent writing! PMS

OK FYI I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE NAME MY DAUGHTER’S NAME IS CADENCE ANNE AND I WANTED SOOO BAD TO NAME HER KENNEDY BUT WE DIDN’T AGREE SO WE ENDED UP NAMING HER CADENCE BUT DAAAAAAAAAAMN I LOVE THAT NAME SO MUCH.
