Spencer didn’t move. Didn’t look amused. Just stared. Cold expression plastered to her face. The brunette walked forward to get closer to her. When she got within a five foot distance, the blonde took a step back. Ashley’s heart shattered.

“Babe—”

“Don’t,” the blonde snapped, making Ashley jump.

The brunette let out a heavy breath and stepped forward reaching for the girl’s shoulder, “Spence—”

Spencer jerked her shoulder back before Ashley could touch her, “Don’t, I said!”

“Would you just let me explain?!” the brunette yelled.

“What’s there to explain, Ashley?!” Spencer yelled back, “You have no idea what I’m feeling right now!”

“You’re right,” the smaller girl surrendered. “But I want to,” she added softly.

“Well, I don’t think I’ll allow you the pleasure,” the blonde scowled. “You don’t deserve it.”

Ouch.

“Spencer, that’s not fair.”

“Not fair?” she laughed bitterly, “I’ll tell you what’s not fair. Being totally prepared to give yourself to someone, and having them refuse you. That’s not fair.”

“I know,” Ashley whispered. She raised her voice a little, “Baby, I know. But I had my reasons, if you’d just let me explain it all.”

“No need,” Spencer’s voice was still harsh. “I know your reason,” she clucked her tongue. “I get it, Ashley. You’re experienced. I’m not. Like I’d be able to ever please you.”

The brunette’s eyes widened in shock, “Spencer! That’s not it at all! Believe me, you had me. Everywhere you hands touched…fire. You’d be able to please me a thousand times over. I just couldn’t. I—” she paused. Couldn’t find the guts to say anything further.

“You what? Just tell me why you stopped! I don’t understand.”

“Spencer, we were about to fuck on the couch!” Ashley screeched, lunging forward pointing to a spot on the blonde’s neck. It was right over her pulse point: a bite mark. The brunette winced when she realized that she had even broken the skin. “You’re not ready for that…”

Spencer slapped the hand away. “I’ll damn well decide what I’m ready for!” the harshness returned to Spencer’s voice.

“Is that all I am to you?! Did you just get in good with me so I’d fuck you, then you’d leave?! What am I to you, Spencer? Tell me that!” Ashley yelled startling both of them. “If that’s all you want. Here, take me. Right here!” She unzipped her hoodie and threw her arms into the air. Tears were threatening to spill.
