Circles and Circles 2 (Part one of… some) – (Chapter: Never gonna let you go (Part two of… some))

“Um. Remember the house we’re staying in?” Spencer asked fluttering her eyelids in sarcasm. “The one with floor to ceiling windows perfect for storm watching…” she let it hang.

“Uh huh” replied Ashley, doing a damn good job of faking that she wasn’t following.

“Oh my god, what is up with you! You and you’re secrets” exclaimed Spencer, throwing her hands up.

“If I told you, they wouldn’t be secrets!” deflected Ashley deftly. She leaned across the centre console and kissed the blonde on the lips. “Besides, you used to like the back seat of my car”

“That was ten years ago when we were escaping our mothers” Spencer pointed out. “And when I hadn’t just had surgery.”

“Oh god, I nearly forgot” Ashley looked horrified. “Are you feeling ok”

“I’m fine, I’m fine, stop fussing. I’m just saying that I don’t think I wanna end up cramped in the back of your car right now.”

Ashley checked her watch, and Spencer’s eyes narrowed suspiciously. What the heck was going on?

“We should be heading back I suppose” the brunette said, despite Spencer’s obvious disbelief. “Are you sure you’re feeling ok”

“I’m FINE. Dying of curiosity over here but not from anything else.” Ashley ignored the comment. She pulled them back on the road, and just as the storm calmed in the late evening, they pulled back in to the driveway. Instead of continuing, the car came to a standstill at the bottom of the hill, near the start of the drive. Spencer looked at Ashley expectantly. She did a double take when her girlfriend pulled out a light piece of cloth, a blind fold.

    “No way” Spencer said quickly.

“Please” pleaded Ashley. “It’s for like, five minutes max, and I’ll take care of you every step of the way”

“What are you up to?” Spencer demanded. At least she knew Ashley wasn’t about to break up with her. A small insecure part of her in the back of her head had worried briefly about that. No particular reason except that she was always worried in the back of her head. However, she was reasonably certain that Ashley wouldn’t blindfold her just to dump her. She still wanted to know what was going on.

    3. Oh my how sweet. Awwwwwwwww. You should continue this story. Even after part 3. I want to see how they are doing after they get married. If they have children. And where life takes them. This is a great story and needs to be shared with all of us on here.

    5. ::sniff!:: Love it! Love the fluff! ::sings:: We love the fluff! Gotta have that fluff!! AWWWWW…:: Sorry. I’m a little out of it. I’m really freaking hungover and I feel like my eardrums have been filled with hot lead. And despite that horrible burning pain, I still loved the fic! Speaking of which, Jesus rode by to say hey. He was happily going to ring his little bell, but due to my current state, I told him that if he even DARED dinging one tiny little ding that I would shove his bell in a very inappropriate location. So he left. In a huff, I might add. I think he went surfing in Kaui…

    7. Oh and on a side note (now that I’m thinking clearly and no longer in horrible pain): You can never be guilty of overposting (and that goes for you, too, bannerman!). You both are simply causing my morning productivity at work to diminish by a startling degree. Luckily, I have a bevy of med students who are completely under my control so I can set them out on a variety of tasks while I bask in the glory of your ficdom. And then feel horribly guilty. :( Actually, no. I’m not that bad. And work’s been really slow, so I’ve enjoyed the distraction. :)
