Circles and Circles 2 (Part one of… some) – (Chapter: Never gonna let you go (Part two of… some))

“For starters, you can’t cook so don’t even think of trying to burn the kitchen down tonight” Spencer said, snaring the piece of paper of her girlfriend and crossing her arms, “And secondly, since when were we going away this weekend? Do I have any say in this?” there was warning in her voice.

Ashley turned to look at her, face unreadable.

“Do you have plans?” she asked, trying to sound casual.

“No, I don’t, but that isn’t the point.” Spencer was starting to sound cross. “You can’t just dictate my life…” She took a deep breath ready to get madder. She was standing her ground with her arms crossed when Ashley smiled, her face going from frown to beautiful in a split second, and she pulled Spencer into a quick hug.

“You’re right. Sorry.” She apologized humbly. “I thought it would be nice if we went away this weekend and I got ahead of myself telling Riley. I meant to ask you about it. We don’t have to go, we can do it some other time.”

Thunder neatly stolen, Spencer felt her anger back down, how could she not. Wrapping her arms around Ashley she returned the hug and sighed.

“Where did you want to go?” she was curious anyway. “We should spend some time with Riley though, we haven’t seen her lately.”

“We can book all next weekend with Riley” Ashley reassured her, “And it’s a surprise.”

“Aww, tell me” Spencer poked her, but to no avail.

“Nope, it’s a surprise.” Letting go of Spencer she wandered over and picked up the cordless phone. “Do you wanna go?”

“Sure” the blonde replied, eyes narrowing suspiciously. “Who are you calling?”

“Pizza” Ash grinned, “So I don’t burn the house down.”

Spencer tried all week to find out where they were going. Ashley smiled slyly a lot, but wouldn’t back down and tell her. It was the first time ever she’d managed to keep a secret from Spencer that long, and the blonde tried everything. From out and out blatant questioning, to subtle hints, and even so far as seduction. Mind you, when she’d gotten Ashley naked and panting beneath her, soft walls contracting down and Spencer’s name on her lips, Spencer had forgotten to ask because she was a little distracted. In the soft warm glow she was bathed in after they had made love she tried again to ask, but even then Ashley’s defenses remained impenetrable.

    3. Oh my how sweet. Awwwwwwwww. You should continue this story. Even after part 3. I want to see how they are doing after they get married. If they have children. And where life takes them. This is a great story and needs to be shared with all of us on here.

    5. ::sniff!:: Love it! Love the fluff! ::sings:: We love the fluff! Gotta have that fluff!! AWWWWW…:: Sorry. I’m a little out of it. I’m really freaking hungover and I feel like my eardrums have been filled with hot lead. And despite that horrible burning pain, I still loved the fic! Speaking of which, Jesus rode by to say hey. He was happily going to ring his little bell, but due to my current state, I told him that if he even DARED dinging one tiny little ding that I would shove his bell in a very inappropriate location. So he left. In a huff, I might add. I think he went surfing in Kaui…

    7. Oh and on a side note (now that I’m thinking clearly and no longer in horrible pain): You can never be guilty of overposting (and that goes for you, too, bannerman!). You both are simply causing my morning productivity at work to diminish by a startling degree. Luckily, I have a bevy of med students who are completely under my control so I can set them out on a variety of tasks while I bask in the glory of your ficdom. And then feel horribly guilty. :( Actually, no. I’m not that bad. And work’s been really slow, so I’ve enjoyed the distraction. :)
