It’s been a week since school started and things are still hard. Being forced to see Spencer day in and day out is so hard and she sure doesn’t make it any easier. She won’t stop staring at me and she’s even tried talking to me a couple of times but I’ve basically walked away. Why is she doing this? I mean she had her fun, right? She can now move on to the her next conquest.

Ugh!! Time for lunch. I’m not in the mood to go off campus for lunch. I’m tired of hiding from her. Tired of feeling like this. So it’s going to stop now. Where’s Kyla? I told her to meet me at our morning table at the quad.

“Hey Ash,” Kyla says happily as she sits next to me

“Hey Kyla, how’s your day going?” I ask as I try to decide whether go to the cafeteria to get some lunch

“Great, I met this sweet guy name Aiden. He’s so hot.” Kyla beams

“Dennison. Aiden Dennison.” I ask nervously

“Yeah, do you know him?” Kyla questions

I sigh and simply nod my head. Great, just great. My sister may start dating one of Spencer’s closest friends. My life just keeps getting better and better.

“So what do you know about him?” Kyla asks enthusiastically

“Star of the basketball team and basically your all around jock.” I mutter under my breath

“Anything else? Is he nice?” Kyla asks

“He’s alright.” I mutter as I stare hard at a wall. I so don’t want to talk about him. Because talking about him reminds me of her and…ugh!!!

Just as Kyla is going to ask me something else this girl I know from History class come up to the table. She smiles warmly and says, “Hi, I’m Michelle. I think we have history together.”

I smile back and say, “Yeah, I think we do. I’m Ashley and this Kyla my sister. . Nice to meet you.”

Michelle smile gets bigger and asks, “Would you guys mind if I join you? My friends ditched me.”

Both Kyla and I nod our heads and she sits down with us. Michelle is very pretty. Long auburn hair, emerald colored eyes, creamy complexion, slim…yes, very pretty indeed. Beautiful actually.
